Would they buy this item again? Yes
4 details later I state that this is the best backing plate I have used in 20 years. The depth is extremely useful. I can get around mirrors and the edge of a 5.5" pad is well off the side of the plate, allowing a subtlety to a polish routine and larger degree of safety (plate possibly hitting vehicle). On my direct drive Milwaukee it flexes as indicated. I highly recommend.
