Does not clean any better than a "free" detergent.

I was a little hesitant before buying this product, thinking that I wouldn't provide much benefit over regular detergent. In the end decided the 9 dollars was fair enough considering the amount of money spent on the microfibers. Has proven to be a wise investment. I can't speak too much on its cleaning ability as it seems to clean similar to detergent, but it's "restoring" abilities are excellent. My microfibers feel just as soft and absorb water and product just as well as when they were brand new. Highly recommended, if you want to protect your microfiber investment and prolong their life.

I've been using this stuff for awhile (I bought the gallon), and every time my MF towels come out clean and soft. It may not get out the most stubborn stains but it does a pretty good job of stain removal. The important thing though is the towels come out absorbent, soft, and fluffy.

Chemical Guys have a lot of great products, however this is not one of them. I've used this on lightly soiled microfiber towels with poor results, they need to revamp this product because the cleaning ability just isn't there.

When I was a kid washing cars I would buy a waffle weave and use it until it looked "used". Now I throw my waffle weave in the wash with this and after every wash and it comes out soft, clean and leaves my paint swirl free. This is a must have for clean paint and pro-longed microfiber usage. It also takes wax gunk out of used microfibers excellently!

since I have been using this stuff, even my older MF's are cleaner and softer. older stains have diminished or disappeared on many of my towels. leaves no scent and the towels feel soft. will continue to use.

Product works well for cleaning and maintaining MF towels. This is the second bottle I've used.

CG microfiber wash did an amazing job an my light green microfiber towels that I used on my wheels, did the presoak then washed them and no residue left on the towels truly amazing. Also the fluid does not have that thick oily feel that laundry detergent has.

Washed a load of assorted microfiber towels with this product. It didn't seem to take out stubborn stains, not that I really expected it to, but it did leave the towels generally clean and soft. Product seems to be well worth the price!

This was my first time trying a microfiber cleaner and the results from using this product were very impressive. Cleaned stubborn stains off my microfiber towels that regular detergents didn't. It leaves everything soft and clean! I would recommend this product to everyone!!

i thought i could just hand wash my microfibers or throw them in the wash with my clothes. i was wrong... they didn't really absorb as well as i wanted them to. after washing my microfibers in this, they worked better than ever! my waffle weave mf absorbed so much better as well!

i'm really glad i bought this product and i will continue to use chemical guys products. maybe i should have bought the larger size...

MF comes out softer than regular laundry detergent.

Have done two washes with the detergent and have been impressed both times. The first was no test at all, as it was simply to condition new towels, but the second was after a full exterior detail with many different products. Several towels had been sitting in a heap for two days before they were washed. They all came out soft, smelling great, and grime free. Definitely recommended to keep your towels looking/feeling their best.

I haven't been able to find anything that could bring my mf towels back. Always repelled water and had the hardest time picking up qd's or window cleaners. This stuff brought back the soft grabbing feel in all my mf products. I will continue to buy this in larger quantities.

Based on the price, I wanted to like this product. However the cleaning ability is just not there.

I use this after trying DI MF restorer. CG product is equally good and is very good deal when it is on sale. I will buy a gallon next time.

This is the ONLY product I will use on my towels. And as a pro detailer, I use a lot! This is an excellent product for keeping your towels clean and like-new.

With a bit of a pre-soak in the washer, this product removed wax and other residues better than regular detergent. In fact, I hesitated to buy a special cleanser just for my MFs...but now I think I need to buy more.

Great product ! I am a professional detailer and wash almost 150 MIF towels a week. This product helps release wax out of buffing towels better than anything else on the Market. I have tried them all and settled on this one a year ago. Some people still use regular detergent and add things like vinegar to try to make their own "POTIONS" - but trust me nothing works as well as the CG MF WASH. A little goes along way 1 to 2 ounces is more than enough for a load of towels. Waffle Weave Dring towels are returned to full absorbancy after only one wash !

Did a great job on my towels they feel as good as new.

This works as advertised. Washed all my Shamrock MF's with CG's MF Wash Detergent in warm water with an extra rinse and dried on medium heat and they came out very soft and stain free. Well worth it.

This detergent is awesome. I've been using it on my microfiber towels for a few months with much pleasure. I recently decided to try it on some extremely nasty dirty baseball caps that I had and it cleaned nearly all of the crud out of them. Put a little soap in hot water in the sink, after awhile scrub a little and then let dry. Great stuff!

I wanted to like this product more than i do - it is marketed well by CG, but real-world use does not meet the hype.

Yes, it will clean your mf's, but honestly I get better results ( more gunk and stuff out) with Meg's APC+ as pre-soak then wash with regular detergent.

Much better than using my scentless liquid from Costco, left the towels with no scent, after having a strong citrus scent out of the bottle. Out of the dryer on delicate cycle, they were soo soft. I would recommend this product to anyone!!

This product is great at restoring my MF towels and wash mitts! It leaves everything soft and clean! I also use this to clean my LC pads and they work great as well. It's saved me from having to buy more towels, mitts, and pads. Will continue to use this...
