Similar to the previous reviewer I have used it on black bmw leather that was previously treated with Leatherique (months ago). After just one application, leather seemed softer and revitalized. Connolly is a paste of a substance similar to car wax (nonabrasive) which is easy to apply but it takes more time to remove it. You don't really need to use too much so in the end it's probably not more expensive than Leatherique. Instructions on the jar are very simple - literally one short sentence. Just need to be careful with colored leather. Smell is OK, when you open the jar it smells like old fashioned cobblers shop but the smell doesn't transfer onto seats.

Would they buy this item again? Yes
I used this stuff on a BMW with black leather, the leather is in good condition except for the driver's side bolster on the driver's seat. After applying, the leather was softer that when I used Leatherique, and the worn and faded areas looked to be better. I thought the Connolly's was easier to apply, but more difficult to remove. The Connolly's smell was not as good as the Leatherique. Both are great products and I would use both again, but if I had to choose one it would be the Connolly's.
