Product Description
The 4" Lake Country White Polishing Pad is a very versatile pad as it can be used to apply a medium cutting polish, finishing polish, an all in one product, chemical cleaner, or glaze. We suggest using the White Polishing Pad as your baseline to assess how deep your imperfections are before moving to a more aggressive pad. Typically, you'll want to use the White Polishing Pad when you are using your finishing polish in order to make sure there is no micro-marring, hazing or holograms left on the paint.Benefits of Smaller Pads:
On a random orbital buffer, such as the Porter Cable 7424:
- Provides more bite than larger pads, in order to break polishes down further and remove more imperfections
- Ability to maneuver the buffer in tigher areas and closer to edges and trim
- Increased control with the buffer
On a rotary buffer, such as the Metabo PE 12-175:
- Provides less bite than larger pads, which makes using a rotary buffer less risky
- Easier to finish down the paint without rotary holograms, micro-marring, and other imperfections
- Ability to maneuver the buffer in tigher areas and closer to edges and trim
- Increased control with the buffer
