Would they buy this item again? Yes
Purchased this product from another website that had it in stock. While I have never used the Porter Cable and can't compare the two, Meguiar seems to have made a great product. I've used it to polish and seal 3 of my cars and it performed admirably.
PROS:
RPM range is good
Top handle is a good size, makes it easy to handle the polisher
Solid/Quality Build
No excessive vibrations
Noise level is tolerable
