Spoilers! I have an OCD concerning clean wheels. Once I clean my wheels I must seal them and maintain their shine for as long as possible. I have discovered that this product works great at cleaning off mild brake dust so long as a base layer of protection is present. The lubrication properties are fantastic. The name says it all.

I use Optimum Instant Detailer & Gloss Enhancer for final drying. It is very easy to use; just spray on, wipe on with one side of your plush microfiber towel, and wipe off with the other. It comes off with no streaks. I am not very sensitive to smell, but it has a pleasant one. Your car will shine. Recommended.

Probably the best detail spray I have ever used. I have only used it in the garage with completely cool paint but comes off easy with zero streaks. Just a quick mist spreads forever. I bought the 32oz and I can see already it will last a LONG time.

Has to be one of the best QD I have used to date. Recently I was going to take a long trip but didn't have time to wash my 06 TL. Used the Optimum Instant Detailer & Gloss Enhancer and a clean microfiber towel and presto!!!! The car had been garaged for a few days and had a light dusting. The QD did the job. Great product.

Works well with the OCW. I plan to use it with a clay bar for a complete detail.

One awesome product i used it on one of my company trucks which is used for sanding and plowing and has a dull paint job and this product made it shine like brand new. I will buy this product all the time it is amazing!!

I love this detailer that I have a hard time putting it down, especially since it smells like bubblegum. I use it to boost the optimum car wax spray shine and leave the car smelling great with high gloss again.

This is my go to product for use with a clay bar. Super slick and a great smell. Also a great product when cleaning door jambs.

One of the best QD's I've ever used. Great gloss and nice slickness. I've used Z6, Z8, Meguire's QD and Finish Kare. None of them compare to Optimum. Love it, and it is definitely my go to QD from now on.

I just ordered the 17 oz. side to sample this product, and I can already say I'll be purchasing the bigger version next time. I haven't gotten a chance to dilute it yet, but one spray seems to cover a fairly large area. If you wipe the product around and it hasn't dried yet, just keep wiping over a larger area until it does dry. If you have some smearing, just make sure to either use less or spread it over a larger area and wipe it until it dries.


I'm seriously trying to decide if my car looked better after applying the dodo juice purple haze or after this stuff. It seems to give my black metallic mustang cobra a shiny, glossy, sealed look; instead of a nice deep carnuba waxed look.

I figured all these positive reviews couldn't be wrong, and they weren't. This stuff rocks.

This is an OUTSTANDING QD, used Dodo juice Rainforest Rub on my AW BMW then topped it with this and it made the paint super slick and glossy!!! Diluted it 3:1 with distilled water. As soon as this 32oz is done I'll be purchasing a gallon!!!

best qd i have ever used. super slick even more then my previous product (adams) and a wonderful smell. i ordered the 32oz and i am so pleased i will order the gallon today

This instant detailer is an excellent value. Don't be mislead by that fact though! It is easy for people to think that a product that is so cheap (buy the concentrate!) can't work as well as the more expensive products. It would be a mistake to believe that when it comes to Optimum's Instant Detailer and Gloss Enhancer. It does require a bit more care in use than other ID's as it can streak if not careful, but it is worth the little extra attention that is required since it gives a better gloss and depth than any other ID that I have used, which is quite a few.

I'm glad George recommended this product to me. A light mist wipes away quick, with no streaking problem like other products. I love that it's a concentrate, so a quart makes a gallon - very affordable! My new favorite QD.

This is a quick detailer that works well on all exterior surfaces. Adds nice gloss and slickness, primarily on silver and lighter-colored vehicles. The price is amazing, $15 for a 32oz concentrate (dilute it 3:1). You don't need to dilute with distilled water, plain tap water works great. Seems to refresh gloss and slickness of any existing paint protection. For the price and performance, I will always have this product on my shelf.

I have tried many QD's and this is the best so far at any price. i bought the gallon. When you dilute 3 to 1 the cost per gallon is incredibly low! Use a plush to buff and you will feel when you're done. It is that smmoooth! Better than CG synthetic. Duragloss, Griots.Ultima or Megs FI and a much better value with 4 gallons when diluted with distilled water. 5 Stars!

Wow I love this QD. I have the following QD's on my shelf: UQD, Last touch, CG Speed wipe, Pinnacle XMT, DP rinseless w/g at QD strength, CG synthetic...this one is by far my favorite.

Last touch is my go-to for a "cleaner" qd, but OID is the best for shine and slickness QD.

This is a great quick detailer. I have tried many and this is my favorite. I can stop my search for a great quick detailer that is cheap enough for me to use several times a week.

Nice product. Not a lot of cleaning power, but it doeas shine well and is easy to use streak free. Smells nice, and well priced as a concentrate.

This product is truly the best instant detailer I have ever used. I have used almost ten different ones and this surpasses them all as far as cleaning ability and shine afterwards. It only adds to the wax underneath making it even that much better. If you are looking for an instant detailer don't look any further than this it is truly amazing!

No only is this a great product, but it's cheap...considering that you get 4 gallons from 1. I've used FK425 for years and years. When I couldn't find any more to buy, I had to try something else. This was recommended, and it work just as good as 425, but it's leaves a much nicer gloss. I'll be using this product from now on.

Product is the best QD I have used in a long time. Really does a great job and is a very good clay lube as well. I would highly recommend this product and it smells great.

Optimum Instant Detailer & Gloss Enhancer is truly the best quick detailer I have used. Works great for removing polishes safely from the paint. Also after your opti-seal has cured, lightly mist this product and wipe away for an extremely slick surface. Buy the 32oz and turn it into a gallon. Excellent product.
