After purchasing a couple of these Optimum MF pads and testing them on a few cars, I decided to order an entire arsenal of these pads to pretty much replace my collection of foam pads. There are a few advantages with MF pads vs. foam pads. First, the MF pads do not "saturate" or soften after repeated use like foam, therefore, you don't need as many pads per vehicle. Clean the MF pad after each panel and the pad acts like new again. Also, because the pads don't saturate you use far less polish or compound. Another great thing about these MF pads is just how slim they are, which means they run very smoothly. Lastly, there aren't 18 different "colors" to buy like there are with foam pads. It's either a cutting pad or polishing pad. No more confusion. No more wasted money on all these different types of foam pads. I can't say enough good things about these pads. Once again, Optimum hits a home run.
