Optimum's new Opti-Mitt 8" Foam Wash Mitt is a great way to wash safely and effectively. It works great with the Optimum No Rinse and any other automotive shampoo. It's a two sided mitt that has an extremely soft black foam and the other side is a stronger yellow foam. The porous black foam has approximately 85-90 pores per square inch so it's ultra soft and absorbent! It utilizes a waffle weave design which creates more surface area for safe washing. The yellow side is a more firm foam meant to help safely scrub away stubborn build ups. It can be used as a bug sponge to spot treat tough build ups on the paint, wheel wells, tires, etc. So you essentially get two great wash mitts in one to work faster and more efficiently! There is also an attached string with a loop so you can hang the mitt up when your are done instead of putting it down on a dirty floor or shelf. Great product by Optimum once again.
I used this mitt twice, both times with ONR. On a fairly dirty car. The mitt is specifically designed by OPT for its product's use. It has a very high PPI rating, and you will notice this right away with how easily the mitt rinse's out and how it absorb's the dirt off the car. If I was to look hard for a con about this product it would be that it release's water very easily which means it can drip moreso than another mitt when washing the vertical panels of the car. This can easily be solved by just lightly squeezing the mitt before leaving the bucket. good good stuff, give it a try ! for really dirty cars I plan to use this with regular car wash soap as well.

Over priced and doesn't hold the soap like advertised. It's clumsy to use and awkward to use. Don't waste your money on this product.
I do not like the Opti Mitt for conventional washing. Most problematic is that it drains most of the soap prior to reaching the body panel. It requires more pressure to glide over the paint, and does not wipe dirt away unless you use several passes. It's hard to wash under door handles, grilles, recessed lights, etc.
I consider it a waste of my money and parked it. A mitt with such a high price should not need exceptions to make it convenient to work with.
