Poorboy's World Spray & Wipe (S&W) Reviews

This is a secret weapon in our arsenal. It is good as a waterless wash, gives a decent shine and a little hydrophobic quality (probably just silicone, as it states there is no wax). Also leaves a nice appearance on trim, and can be used on side glass. The best thing about this is that any streaks left behind will wipe away easily with a soft dry towel, most other products will be more stubborn with any streaking that dries. Not recommended on front glass, can cause wiper skipping as the silicone or whatever breaks down, and tends to haze on inside glass when any frost or condensation (fogging) gets defrosted.

Use this on every inch. Will keep buying as long as available. If there comes a time it will be delisted, please let me know and I will buy many bottles so I don't run out.

A friend recommended Poorboy's Spray and Wipe to me as a clay lubricant in place of another product that I've been using. I'm impressed especially given the price by how well it works with 22ple soft clay. Also easily removed some bugs that had dried.

Worked better than I ever expected. Used it to clean a cousin's Honda CRV that is parked under oak trees and had not been washed in over a year. Dirt, tree sap, bird droppings, were all removed. The guys on the block were impressed with the results.

It wasn't bad, but the shine left was inferior to other quick detailer products like Chemical Guys. It was pretty good at bug removal. Not a bad product, but there are better ones.

Love this stuff. Isn't greasy like some of the other stuff out there, wipes of easily with no streaks and leaves a great shine.

This stuff is amazing. I got it for free with a clay bar kit with my first purchase from DI. I figured since it was a free product it wasn't going to be worth a damn, boy was I wrong. This stuff leaves behind a level of gloss if never seen from a QD/ WW. I use it when going to car shows. I also have my car ceramic coated with cquartz U.K. And this works okay with the coating as well. I liked this product so much I bought the gallon of it and I use it on customers cars when they're wanting a waterless wash.

A great substitute for regular car wash and good for heavy dust, road grime, & even bird bombs. No streaks. I can use it in sun or shade. Also, good news for those of us in the north, you can use S&W in sub freezing temps, just adjust your technique (not to much product & a smaller area).

I've tried many of the quick detailers, from jaxwax to chemical guys v07... and I have got to say the poorboy's world is amazing. I used it with my DI 200g clay bar. Tons of lubricity, and the smell is pleasant. The detailer is a little on the thicker side, but it buffs off very easily and leaves behind a good amount of gloss and depth. Would definitely buy again, also going to be trying other PBW products

Still a great product to use. Spot cleaning or using as a drying lubricant.

This is by far the best detailing spray that I have ever used! The best feature of it is that it goes on and off so easily. It is great for touchups, removing minor scratches and in between wash day detailing. I've used it almost every surface of my car including paint, plastic, interior, and windows. The low price point, multi surface uses, and great smell, make this product a valuable addition to your Detailing Kit.

LOVE this stuff! I use it as a clay lube, drying aid, and quick detailer. For not having any wax or glossing agents, it's still leaves a very slick feeling behind!!

Love this product! Did a great job as a clay lube, as well as waterless wash on a dusty vehicle. Smells good and is nice and slick.

First detail spray I tried. Loved the smell and the way it destroyed bug splatter, bird poop, etc., but the first bottle went pretty quickly. Switched to Nanoskin glide for a while because of the cost savings after diluting. It was a good lubricant, but just didn't clear up bugs and stuff like this. Switched back to this and dilute it ~1:5. Still works great and is a lot more economical now.

I bought Spray & Wipe to use mainly as a drying aid and a possible detail spray. It works great for both purposes! I am amazed at how well it not only cleans but also lubricates dirt on multiple exterior car surfaces. This is a fantastic product and you will be hard pressed to find another detail spray that performs as well for a similar price. An added bonus about Spray & Wipe is it smells very good.

I use this as my go to clean-up or after wash drying. No matter what the problem; bird poop, finger prints, dust build-up etc. Great product !!!

This stuff is like magic in a bottle. I have used it on just about everything on my car. It smells awesome too.

JUST BUY IT AS A GALLON SIZE. I got the 16oz and I knew this was my new detailing spray after the 3rd spray. Smells great, very slick and it doesn't streak! I cant wait to use it with a claybar. I'll be buying the gallon soon.

This is one of the only quick detailers I have found that doesn't leave a residue on a hot car or in the sun. I have compared it to Griot's QD, Mother's and Meguair's. This product is the best. You don't have to buff it with a towel to remove residue, it just wipes clean. The smaller bottle also has a very high quality spray nozzle with easy adjustment.

Yes I'll buy more, my too small bottle is half gone so I'm diluting 1:1 only using for pad conditioning till then. This stuff is a versatile chemical ,not overly slick or super high gloss more of a no harm cleaner or lube. At this price I will be trying it everywhere.

Its a great waterless wash but it is amazing to use as a clay lube. I bought the 32oz bottle and diluted down a bit to use as a lube. I definitely recommend getting the biggest size possible as you will go threw it quick!!

Love this. Used it for claybar prep prior to paint correction and now use post wash to help give it that extra shine when drying the car after a wash. Gives me that extra piece of mind that i'm getting all of the dirt off my car without marring the paint. As one guy noted above, I use this on my 2003 Jet Black BMW and its a pain in the ass to keep clean/swirl free, this helps make the job easier.

I've tried a bunch of quick detailers and to me there are two groups. The group that cleans a semi dirty car well, and the group that is only meant to be used on a clean surface to make it pop. While there are some quick detailers our there that will leave a deeper look and slicker surface, nothing that I've found can match this in ability to clean a car without damaging paint. It melts bird poo so you just have to wipe it off - no scrubbing. It gets rid of smushed bugs on the front bumper and windshield nicely. It cleans off the rubber dust behind the front and rear tires (if you drive your car hard). It gets rid of all the dust that accumulates on the rear bumper. It cleans the rims. It cleans the glass. It cleans everything really well, leaves no streaks anywhere, and a nice finish. I've bought this QD over and over again while at the same time always comparing it to others. I always come back to this one. Buy in the gallon size and dilute it. 5 Stars.

This stuff was amazing for getting Klasse Sealant Glaze off of the car. SG has a reputation of being hard to remove at times. I bought the 16oz and then immediately bough a gallon jug. This stuff is awesome.

Not sure what it's use is for, a quick detail spray cleans easier and faster.

The BEST...I use it daily and the cars have never looked better. It smells great and leaves the paint feeling slicker than grease. It makes BlackFire look dripping wet as a wipe up. Don't wait and wonder its worth your time and money.

This is by far my favorite QD. I use it as a final drying agent, clay lube, bird bomb wash, waterless wash on small areas, or use over entire car to clean dust particles. It has a great mild scent. Never streaks on my light colored cars.

WOW !!! What can i say that has not been said. This product works. Great price. Smells great. Fun to use. Versatile. I use it in my kitchen. Works great on granite countertops, stainless appliances, glass cook top, ect. This is a keeper. I am glad i found it. Always buy it from DI.

Pleasantly surprised the first time I used Spray & Wipe. It is a much better QD than expected....used to clean a bird bomb with no scratching or residue. Continued to apply to several panels and noticed an improvement in gloss and slickness overall. Dries quickly with no trace of haze or smearing. An absolute bargain whether on sale or not. I would highly recommend trying it - it may become your QD of choice as it has mine.

Poorboy's world products smell great and are an excellent value! I used this product after using a few other quick detailer's. I enjoyed using this as it smelled amazing and simply works amazing! I will be buying this in a gallon next time! There is no extra shine with this product however it cleans water spots, bird droppings, chrome, and much more with just a swipe of a rag! This product is a excellent value . It not only gets the dust off the cars but is an excellent clay lubricant. I am a mobile paint tech and this product has really helped to save time and money on the lot units i work on.

I'm a longtime Poorboy's user, & I've been a fan of Spray & Wipe ever since its release. I have numerous uses for it including lubricant for clay, cleaning wheels, cleaning rocker panels, & when I'm doing a quick detail that requires a stronger cleaner. This is an extremely versatile product.

I purchased this to use clay for the first time on my 2002 honda accord and I have to say it worked perfectly. This was the first time I've used clay and wasn't so sure about the whole idea, but it kept the clay riding smoothy across the surface even with just a light spray. I haven't used if for anything else yet, but I do like how it performed. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to clay a car.

Superb product. I look at it as an excellent no-wax QD and the fact that it can handle a bit more grunge than a typical QD. It's great for getting a panel ready prior to polish and/or wax. I received my latest bottle as a clay lube from DetailedImage - so if they say it's a good clay lube, well, there's a bonus! As always, realistic pricing from PBW is a huge draw to their excellent products.

Stuff does what it says. I have used it as a lubricant during claying to moisten my towel during a few dusting sessions I will probably be picking up another bottle soon, just for those random occasions where it could be necessary.

Excellently priced, works fantastically for clay barring, smells like bubblegum to boot.

Great smell and its the best cleaner I've ever used. Works great on glass and anything else. Very little needed and I mix it 50/50 with water so a little goes a long way. I use it with the zero edge towel and the combo could not be better!!

Poorboys products are excellent bang for the buck! Spray & wipe does not disappoint. Removes road grime easy and leaves surface slick. Excellent clay lube when claying exterior. Use spray & wipe in between washes.

I don't know how this stuff works but it works. The instructions on the bottle indicate to use the product sparingly. I would have to agree that works best. What remains is a just waxed look.

Leaves your paint feeling almost like it was just waxed. Super easy to apply and cleans really well. Great clay lubricant too

Great product! Got this in a kit with my DI clay bar. Does so much more...removes daily dirt and bugs to keep my vehicle in great condition. The fact that it smells good is an added bonus...so many products have a bad odor. I'm buying the gallon next.

PoorBoy's is my favorite product, period. I use this on my car after a light drizzle or to clean up every day imperfections that happen while driving and it always works great with little to no marring. I even used it to give my paint a shine and gloss finish after my last wash when I didn't have enough time to put wax on. I am nothing shy of impressed.

Another top notch product from PoorBoy. Easy to use but use sparingly.

This product is a great spray lube for claying, and I have never had any issues with it streaking. Stellar product, I would pour it in my bath tub and bathe in it if I could. I crave this scent!

Choosing between spray n' wipe and ONR was difficult, but i don't think i made a bad choice with poorboys. Right now both of my main cars have fresh paint, so a wax and silicone free product was essential.I keep a small spray bottle in the car to remove bugs, road grime, and dust from the dirt road i have to drive once a week. It works surprisingly well on bugs and despite not having any wax or silicone it can leave the surface fairly slick.

I have also used it diluted as a clay lube. It isn't as slick as some products, but it works quite well, just be prepared to rinse/wash the car again after claying if you don't take the time to buff the car dry as you clay.

The best quick detail spray I have ever used. Super slick, and will help prevent those annoying micro scratches!!

This stuff is just awesome, clear and simple. first received a bottle of it with the DI clay package and have now been stocking up on the bigger sizes. no streaking, clean finish, that's a win-win.

Super happy with this, it leaves an amazing shine and like others said appears super gentle on the paint. I'll definitely be refilling this when I run out!

This stuff is amazing. If you have a black car and want a product that cleans up the light dust between washes and waxes this is the stuff for you. As many have said, it is hard to believe that there is a product out there that doesn't need water, doesn't scratch and brings out the shine.

This product is amazing, I would definitely buy it again. I use it after a car wash and also when my car is a little bit dirty after not washing for a few days. It keeps my paint nice, soft and keeps my paint clean till i am able to wash it again. Awesome product.

This is a very very handy product to have in your detailing arsenal, or even for an enthusiast in between washes if you don't want to waste your detail spray. Overall a very versatile and affective product, not to mention the smell isn't too bad either!

I live in FL and dont have a garage to park my Black `11 Subaru WRX. I was looking for a some type of waterless car wash that could be used in the sun or on hot paint that could remove bugs, bird droppings and water spots without scratching the paint. I have used several waterless cars wash sprays, including Griot`s but all of them tell you not to use in direct sunlight but with S&W you can. It has one of the best sprayers I have seen and can be adjusted to a fine mist that makes it easier to apply and remove. S&W has great lubricity and leaves the finish slick. I always carry a bottle in the back of my car.

I tried 16 oz bottle and just bought 32 oz as a refill. One of the best QD our there. AFAIK, Chemical Guys synthetic QD gallon, Poorboy's S&W 32 oz or gallon, Optimal QD concentrate are the best value for QD+clay lube+drying aid available from DI. Don't miss the opportunity when any of them are on sale.

love this stuff works great bought the small bottle to try it out a couple weeks ago and now i just ordered the gallon of it

Excellent product for detailing a motorcycle after a ride. Works very well to remove minor road grime and brake dust from wheels and other painted surfaces. Contains no waxes, so it won't provide the slick "just waxed" feel that some detail sprays will.

It gets no better. I even have ONR on the shelf and still use this as the ultimate QD, clay lube, window cleaner, and interior do-it-all. After seven years I remain convinced this is the elixer of the detailing gods.

This is a great waterless wash it removes dust, bird droppings, tree sap, without marring your finish at all. Make sure you do have several plush microfibers on hand to use this so that you ensure you dont put scratches in your finish. It is also great as a drying aid after washing. It also has a great watermelon scent to it bought a gallon and will be purchasing more in the future, great product.

Been using it for years with great results. At the top of the list in my detailing arsenal!

Now this stuff was the surprise. I really works wonders, especially after a southwest Texas mud shower (that's what we can rain here.)

Use it to clean up after light dusting or bird droppings. Tried it as a claybar lube with a claymagic bar and it destroyed the bar.

Great product. Easy to use. I used to remove lightly soiled areas, e.g., had some still moist salt spray after driving. I used S&W to remove this and it worked great. By the way, I received the product very quickly - 2 days.

Great stuff! I like the scent and it cleans safely. I wouldn't use it on heavily soiled cars, but it did help me remove a large bird dropping with minimal marring; a lot less than any other detail spray.

My favorite Poorboys product as long as I can keep it away from my wife....She uses it for the granite countertops etc....

This is a good QD for a more dirty/dusty car that usual. This is not as good as others for a daily spray. I keep this beside my Optimum QD for when I get more than a day's worth of dust.

This is a great product used to wipe down the vehicle after a wash to remove any residue and help prep the paint for a quick wax/seal. Also good for a clay lube. It leaves a nice shine as well. In regards to a quick wipe down/dusting, I think that the Chemical Guys Synthetic Quick Detailer is better for that purpose. I have both and prefer the CG's detailer better because it really is slicker and leaves a better shine. The Poorboy's S&W is still good though. Buy both I guess...

Love this stuff! I've been using it for about half a year now, and have never looked back. After driving in the rain, or when the car is dirty, I can get away with using this to wipe down the car, leaving me with a car that like it was just detailed.

I like this stuff. Especially when the car is newly-cleaned and I get something on it. Works very well for lubricating clay too. I ordered the giant refill bottle.

I used it on my jet black bmw. Anyone who knows anything about Jet black knows its the softest paint on earth. literally! Spray and Wipe did not marr at all. the trick to it is to spray it on, wipe the excess liquid off, and then buff gently with a microfiber for great results. This works great in a pinch. Also Try Optimum no rinse. ONR works great for winters.

I've used PB S&W many times before and I am never dissapointed on how well it not only works but can be diluted.

I'm skeptical of any product that claims to clean without the benefit and lubricity of water and suds without imparting at least minimal marring. I just used S&W to wipeddown a black vehicle that had been driven for a couple of days in the rain after a detail and paint correction....looks freshly detailed without a single mark under the halogens! Time to order by the gallon!
