The Rupes iBrid Nano Orbital Function Unit allows you to use your Rupes Big Foot iBrid Nano as a Dual Action (DA) polisher! Random orbital buffers oscillate rather than spin on one axis like a rotary unit. While this rotary buffer is very safe sometimes it's easier to control and use in tight spaces when you utilize the Orbital Function Unit. This helps reduce the amount of heat generated on the paint and is very safe to use. Even at full speed, the risk of damaging your paint is virtually zero. A rotary motion may help you remove imperfections faster, but sometimes you want to use an oscillating motion to be even safer.The Orbital Function Unit comes in two great sizes (3mm and 12mm), so you can utilize two different size throws with your iBrid Nano unit. Use the 3mm size for rotary like performance but just a little slower. The 12mm orbit is better if you want to notably slow down the pads revolutions and polish a little bit safer.
