SONAX Tire Gloss Gel Product Reviews

Great product. The trick is to use thin coats, or you may get some sling. Leaves a great dark shiny look on tires.

I normally don't submit reviews since we purchase the same products as needed and do so knowing the quality is there and we won't be let down with the results.

However, the Sonax Tire Gel is a product that we will definitely not use again for a number of reasons. Any new product that we bring purchase is tested on our personal vehicles to ensure it is a product that we believe would benefit our customer's vehicles. That said, we purchased 2 of these products believing the quality would be that of other products under the same name.

The tire gel is not easily applied whether using a tire applicator or a MF towel.

The gel was administered to 3 different types of tires .... truck tires, passenger car tires and low profile sport tires. With each application the tire/gel "sling" was heavy no matter how little was applied to the tire(s). Unacceptable for us as professional detailers.

Yes, the tires stay black, but that is the only positive for this product.

On a side note, the tires were all wiped down 30-60 minutes after application as a routine detail we do. This did nothing to hinder the messy tire sling from the tire gel.

Absolutely will not purchase again.

Good tire gloss. Tires have a deep black finish. Would purchase again.
