The 22ple family of products are easy to apply, have durability, nice gloss and reflect nicely. I wish all these ceramics coatings would give you the depth of wax when machine applied. 22ple are easy to apply and do not cause high spots if you follow the appropriate timing. I wish the company would come out with more videos and sell more directly to the consumer through stores like Detailed Image. Detail Image is great- just like more competitive pricing.

My experience with 22PLE HPC was both good and bad. the 30mL bottle I purchased said it was good for a large car, but I barely had enough to do my Jeep Grand Cherokee. Lesson learned, always buy more than you will need. The bottle it came in was terrible. Getting the drips out was challenging at best after about 30 minutes of working on the vehicle. Next up came the applicators which are TERRIBLE. Do not buy the 22PLE applicator. They are down right terrible. Unfortunately they were all I had so I had to use them. The surface constantly peeled off if not working on a flat surface. Now to the coating itself...the product went on well when the applicator didn't come apart and came off just as easy after it hazed. The gloss from the coating was instantly noticeable and flat out ridiculous bordering on absurd. Time will tell if I got full coverage and how long it lasts. The price was certainly on the higher end so my hopes are high for the quality to be there. After the coating, I applied the VS1 and it took the gloss to the next level and gave it a deep wet look. The VS1 was very easy to apply, but again I had to use more than what was advertised by the manufacturer to get even coverage. Overall the product is great but requires more homework and preparedness than others I have used. I would definitely recommend it for someone looking for a longer term coating with insane gloss. Make sure you buy better applicators though and maybe a syringe to dispense it.

Hands down my favorite consumer-level coating, and I like it better than some of the pro level coatings I have used. I cannot stress to you how unbelievably easy this coating is to apply, you would nearly have to intentionally try to mess it up. On top of that, it is beautifully glossy and the water behavior is fantastic!

I applied it in ~48° weather and the dwell times were around 5-7 minutes, one section I had let sit for nearly 20 minutes and it was still easy to wipe off (although not recommended to let it sit that long).

I did two coats and did not top with VS1 as I do not have any, although I do have Finitura and some Kamikaze Overcoat I may try.

10/10, this will forever be in my arsenal.

This is the second time I have used the 22Ple HPC. My first vehicle a 2016 NX has the coating and it's still going strong after 2 years though I just did "refresh " it with Final Coat. I just did my sons new Honda Accord Sport , 2 coats including wheels and door jams and had 5 or 10 cc leftover. I topped it off with a nice carnuba wax.... simply stunning . I used the small 22ple applicator but once you get into the swing of things it goes fast. Earlier this year I helped my son in law do his white Ford Raptor .... a big job but fortunately had two of us working on it and 50 cc did the job with some left over. I am sold on this product.

This is the sixth time I have applied 22ple. I try to do all I can to make my cars look their best. No matter how much shine I get out of polishes it seems like this takes it to a little higher level. It also seems to dress certain areas that polish does not. I am a big fan and have recommended it to a couple of buddies that use it as well.

I applied this product on a new 2017 chevy silverado, the product was really easy to apply but the final result was not what I expected specially on the shine and reflection, I don't know about the durability of the product since is been just a couple of weeks since the application. I bought the 50 ml bottle thinking that at could get at least 2 coats but only was enough for 1 and a couple of panels more. I had use the the 22 ple vx3 before and I didn't see a big difference between the 2, maybe the protection time is going to say otherwise but for $ 100 dollars more I would prefer to have the cheaper version.

22ple HPC...well, this was interesting. Got a chance to try this coating yesterday.

Cliff Notes: Kinda strange application characteristics but overall is blindingly easy, product is forgiving with respect to removal, very high gloss and very slick.

The victim was yet another fleet vehicle, a 2016 Ford Transit-250 Extended Cargo Van. Pretty good shape so just went over it with Sonax Perfect Finish, Flex 3401 w/ LC Force Hybrid white pad, then prepped by going over twice with Gyeon Prep.

Application was odd, for me in this case anyway. I began applying with Gyeon foam block/microsuede applicator cloth. I did have the recommended 22ple applicator block (below; had to purchase separately for $5 as no applicator is included with product) but the thing is so small I figured I`d be there forever.

Anyway, the HPC didn't apply very smoothly using the Gyeon block/cloth; initial contact with the surface and a loaded applicator/cloth was very grabby and uneven, even after the block/cloth got a bit saturated on successive panels. Each section the first swipes seemed to flash nearly immediately but you were able to eventually smooth/distribute the product evenly on each panel; it just din`t have that `gliding` feel as most coatings do. Possibly due to the fluorine in the product? Have heard the same anecdotal experience of quick flashing with Gyeon Booster which is fluorine based? I dunno, I ain't no chemist, all I know is it did not have a smooth, gliding application using the block/microsuede cloth deal.

So I decided to give the 22ple applicator block a try. It certainly applied smoother but the very thin layer gray of whatever it is that touches the paint would 'catch' very easily if not perfectly flat on surface; almost fumbled/dropped this a few times. At this point I had also increased my `arm speed` of application to help with the quick flashing of the initial swipe. Still not confident of easy, even coverage I grabbed one of those yellow/gray LC applicator blocks and gave it a try.

OK...now we`re getting somewhere...easy to hold, doesn't try to fold under as easily as the 22ple block...horrible screeching noise at times as it moves over the paint but if applying quickly enough, good, even application...`quickly` being the operative word when I was applying the HPC. Best method came to be dropping about 6 to 8 drops on the applicator and then going over a panel or section as quickly as I could, back and forth, up and down. It was actually near frantic but the product was forgiving enough that once spread on the panel could be gone over a few times to even out the coverage. For whatever reason, a slower `first wipe` with a freshly loaded applicator wasn't smooth or even but if ya hit the panel running and continued with quick movements, it all came out very evenly. And because of whatever chemistry is involved in this product, removal intervals were pretty much irrelevant (within reason of course...guessing coming back an hour later might lead to issues).

Anyway, once I got going I was able to apply to the entire top half of one side of the van, wander around a bit congratulating myself on how skillful I was, and then remove the flashed product. Wipe off was ridiculously easy using a Gyeon Polish Wipe towel, not much pressure needed, no pushing any coating residue to adjacent panel...stuff removed pretty much like a sealant or liquid wax. Followed up with a light buff using another towel and was left with a very slick, very glossy surface. Will do second coat about 20hrs after initial, perhaps it will glide more during application. Will then follow up with 22ple VS1 Final Coat and call it a day. And a month. And quite possibly a year when it comes to working on vans.

At around a list price of around $110 for 30ml, certainly not the cheapest game in town so we`ll see if effectiveness and longevity justify the higher initial price point. Wasn't sure if I was gonna have enough (started with two 30ml bottles) to do entire van twice so I used another coating on the seemingly endless roof of the van. Coating all panels once except for the roof used about 20-25ml of HPC. A 50ml bottle *might* have made it thru 2 coats on all panels but roof; it would have been close.

Painted surfaces look and feel great after application, can't wait to see how it does in daily use.

2nd Coat:

22ple HPC 2nd coat was uneventful using Gyeon block and microsuade cloth. Went on pretty much like other coatings.

This stuff is just so easy to use, despite the somewhat unconventional 'feel' during application of first coat. Pretty much applied to half of one side of van at a time. At about 64 degrees, just a light buff off and no worries about high spots.

Probably the best way to describe final appearance (after VS1 Final Coat) ...gloss. It is of the 'molten glass' variety. Much more so than the Cquartz on its sister vehicle, which was pretty much in the same condition immediately before coating.

It was a very entertaining product to use and final appearance is (to my tastes) quite stunning on the red, non metallic paint. Would be great if this one has legs and it's self-cleaning abilities measure up. Gonna give it a month on the van and see how it performs but based on initial looks and feel alone, this might just replace what I thought I was gonna use on my personal vehicles this Spring.

I applied this product to a new Lexus NX back in August. I bought 50cc and was able to coat the car twice with about 5 to 10cc left over (I did not do the wheels). It's been nearly 6 months and while the Illinois winter has not been severe the water beading of this product remains amazing. the application process is very easy with the hazing an easy indicator of when to wipe it off. If this lasts 3 years it is well worth the price as opposed to applying a traditional sealant twice per year just in the time saving alone. Highly recommended!

This is third 22ple coating that I have tried. I am a complete novice at detailing. I have been very impressed with the 22ple products and the ease of application. Last year I used the VX pro coating on a white car that I keep parked outside and that project went great and the coating is holding up. This time I chose the HPC coating for an Imperial Blue BMW X5 (dark navy blue).

This stuff is just ridiculously easy to apply using the 22ple applicator. You simply paint the stuff on and buff it off. It is much easier to apply than most wax jobs. I applied it when the ambient temps were 65 degrees and it is crazy forgiving. There is almost no way to mess it up. It goes on and the finish is perfect. No streaks or marks and it looks like glass.

It is so easy that I am likely to apply it to an Azurite BMW 5 series that I own.

My only complaint is the bottle is a bit challenging to get it to drip onto the applicator. It is much easier to get a 10cc syringe and draw the product up through a long blunt needle and dispense it this way than with the bottle that they supplied.

This is a great product and I would buy it again. I cannot comment on the longevity of the HPC coating, but the VX pro I used last year seems to have held up quite nicely outside. The X5 is garage parked and so I hope it will last even longer.

22ple HPC/VS1 combination was easy to work with and really looks amazing! Much easier to work with than CQuartz. The only thing I would advise is that you might need more HFC than you thought you would need. I applied it so that it would haze like in the Zach McGovern review of this product and I used the 22ple applicator. I was only coating a WRX, and a 30ml bottle didn't cover the whole car. I had to buy another bottle or HPC to cover the hood and roof. I would guess that maybe a 50ml bottle would have covered the whole car. But that would be pushing it, and that would only be one coat. Other than that, the product itself produced really great results! I would definitely recommend it, but be warned that you might need to buy two bottles if you have a large car.

First of all the customer service I received when purchasing & with application questions is second to none. Reece went out of his way to make sure I had a good grasp on exactly what I needed to do to apply successfully. Now as for the HPC: this is my first application of a semi permanent coating and to be honest I was quite nervous/excited/fearful all at the same time. I read every review and published articles posted on this site and l learned prepping the car is the most important part of the entire application. Once I did my test spot of 2'x2' I was off for the races. Due to spending countless hours prepping my car this was like icing on the cake. It really was so easy my wife could have come out and applied it and she's not so big into detailing her car. My car previously had WG 3.0 sealant topped with Souveran paste was so it had a nice glow to it but I wanted something more durable, harder coating on the surface I could trust would shield all those hours of prep. The glass that appeared to melt over my car brought strait pleasure knowing all those hours were more than worth every minute. I can't comment on durability yet since only cpl weeks old but the water is afraid of my car. After I applied the second coat I topped off with VS1 4 hrs later and just when I thought it couldn't get better. I highly recommend to anyone looking for that wow factor when you are done or like turning heads pulling into the local car shows. I will revert back on durability after I have a few months under my belt. One more thing I was able to coat my 15 STI twice and my rims twice with 30 ml bottle if this helps you with your decision making on size bottle to purchase.
