I have to say this is one of the best wheel coatings I have used. Like most 22ple products it is user friendly. But it's overall performance is where it is at. It has proven to be durable compared to other coatings. It makes washing easier with brake dust and dirt coming off with a blast of water.

Let me first say this is not a magic bullet. Wheels will still get dirty. But what I found is my wheels now repel far more brake dust and clean up way way easier. My car is fairly new (3 months) so not much difference in beading off of wheels but the level of brake dust is way down.

I reviewed this before and was not happy. The front wheels on my car shed dirt better then the rear wheels that i did not do, ran out of product. If it helps for one year i would be happy for the cost. I did put it on a stainless sink for a hard test and three months later the sink is easier to clean up, so my wife feels. My customers seem to have a interest in the product so i will test them more.

I put the product on my stainless sink for a hard test. Polished the sink and followed all instructions. Let dry for thirty hours. The sink did repel great for about one day. Did not feel it was worth the effort.

I took my wheels of, iron x them, then polished them with a buffer and applied this stuff and then buffed off.
I didn't notice any difference or any affect in terms of protection or ease of cleaning afterwards. It was literally the same effort to clean the wheels.

So, I will not be buying this product again.

First off, it really works! My only concern is I'm unsure if I applied it correctly, I applied it to some new rims I got and I've washed them 3 times, all the brake dust has never come off so easily, they still look brand new and not a single scratch on them. I was iffy about the coating at first but absolutely love it. It really works!

I bought this because I have a BMW with those breaks that give off a horrendous amount of dust. My wheels would always get so dirty during the week and would take a bit of effort to clean. I prepared the wheel and applied the coating per the instructions and let it dry. So little was used that I think I could do another four cars with what is left. After finishing the wheels I drove the car all week and I think that the wheels were as dirty as they always have been, maybe a little less. The big change is that when I shot the wheels with water, from a regular garden hose, practically all off the break dust washed off of the wheel! I ended up touching up just a few spots on the rim, but I didn't have to use any pre-cleaners, brushes, etc. to clean the wheel. This is a great product and I highly recommend.

I just finished applying this to my G37 and must admit I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of use. Easy on and easy off. Although I purchased the 50 ml bottle I (and have only applied to 4 wheels) I suspect I will get another 2-3 uses from this bottle if not more. The wheels on the G37 are tedious to say the least (15 spokes on each wheel) but the entire application was done in about 1 hour. Prep time actually tool longer (clean, dry, wipe down with alcohol). initial gloss is fantastic. Can not attest to longevity of application and this is by far the most important reason I purchased this product. I am hoping for 2 years of protection but will be happy with one year.

I just recently applied 22ple VM1 on a new set of wheels I purchased. Apllication was much easier than I anticipated and the entire process of coating 4 wheels took less than an hour from start to finish. On my s6, I can't even run to the supermarket without brake dust turning the wheels from silver to graphite so I was mainly looking at a product that would help make cleaning the wheels easier. Let me tell you, 22ple exceeded my expectations! I've driven my car 3 days since applying, including one day in the rain and another day at the dragstrip, and the brake dust barely is noticeable and the wheels are super glossy. This was an added benefit as I was only looking for some added protection. I will definitely apply this to the wheels of any car I own going forward and have recommended it to all my friends.

This product is amazingly simple to apply. As with most products, I feel that the preparation work is more important than the application. I removed the wheels from my cars and sprayed them with Stoners Tarminator first. I have also tried 3M Tar and Wax remover. The product doesn't matter as much as getting any tar and wax off the wheels before application. I also polished a little on the painted wheels of one of my cars to remove some light swirls. After thoroughly cleaning the wheels, I sprayed them liberally with IPA and wiped them down until dry. At this point, my microfiber towel was not showing any signs of dirt after wiping the wheels. I tried applying the 22ple with two different products; one a simple cotton make-up remover pad, and second with a 2x2 patch of microfiber towel I cut out. The cotton make-up remover worked well, especially because it absorbed minimal product. However, I needed a new pad after two wheels. The microfiber patch absorbed more product, but it lasted for the entire project. I didn't even have to buff or level the product at all after applying. The wheels looked very shiny and felt rather slippery the next day after they had started curing. Of course I had to check my applicators and as we have been warned, they were hard and definitely not reusable (not that I would anyway!). I have typically applied a polymer protectant to my wheels every year (garage queen cars), so the longevity and protection that 22ple offers will be a time and money saver in the long run.

I've used this product time and time again on vehicles for my clients and it protects unlike anything else. Its been popular with my clients because it makes wheels so much easier to clean and maintain. I recently used them on a McLaren MP4-12C and since then, the owner has had no issues cleaning them after some spirited drives. I highly recommend removing the wheels for best results and also doing the brake calipers if they are painted to make them really stand out.

I tried this on an Audi S8 that starts to accumulate brake dust almost as soon as the wheels are cleaned. While this will not prevent brake dust from covering the wheels, it very much keeps it from etching and doing damage. Also, when it comes time to clean the wheels, a strong blast of soap and water are all it takes. In other words, the cost of this product, while steep, will cut back drastically on the amount of Sonax or P21S wheel cleaners needed. This was money well spent.
