I personally like the mat finish of the tire. Looks clean and new not shiny and greasy.

Great advice Zach. Properating Prep is key for success. On some All Terrain type tires with aggressive side lugs, I have found brushes good for getting into nooks and crannies. Of course, proper technique is key when using a brush.

I took my truck to get wash , wax and detailed . He put some kind of tire shine on my tires . It does not dry and it is very greasy . When I drive then return home ,my tires have all kind of trash on my tires . How do I get that off ?

    Hi Zach,
After a tire dressing has been applied, how do you clean the sponge?

    • Since we used water based dressings, I am not worried about tire dressing build up on the sponge. I will just reuse the same sponge until it becomes too saturated, at which point I throw it away and use a new one. They are wear items, but if you wish to clean and resuse, I would soak in a degreaser or all purpose cleaner, then scrub and rinse thoroughly.
