Metro Vacuums Master Blaster Revolution: Unboxing

How often do you just finish drying your vehicle, just to turn around and see water run down the side of your car from under the mirror or the area around your door handle.  It is nearly impossible to fully dry your car with just a towel.  Using a combination of towel drying and air is the perfect process for drying your car.  That is where a product like Metro Vacuums Master Blaster or Master Blaster Revolution become handy.  As long as you have some type of protection on your vehicle with good hydrophobic properties, the Master Blaster will make drying your car very easy.  This unit is especially great for use on vehicles with a paint coating due to their nature to shed water extremely well.  The purpose of this article to show you want you can expect when you order one of these units, and what is included and required to set the unit up and be ready for use.

When you purchase a Master Blasters from Detailed Image, it is drop shipped directly from Metro.  The unit will arrive in a single box as shown above.

Inside the box used for shipping are two (2) more additional boxes.

One of the boxes contains either a 10′ or a 30′ hose depending on which option you chose to order.  I opted for the 30′ hose version for additional ease of use.

The other box contains the Master Blaster Dryer along, various accessories and book containing additional information.

Also included with the unit is a bracket for hanging the hose on the wall when not in use.

This is the bracket that is included with the unit if you chose to hang the unit on the wall.  It comes with screws and anchors for use in drywall, however I have a block garage and chose to use tapcon screws to anchor it to the wall.  The unit itself is quite heavy, so you will want to make sure if you are going to wall mount it that you have the bracket mounted very securely.

I also mounted the hose holder bracket on the opposite wall.  You need to have an outlet with a 20 amp breaker nearby for use with this unit, or you will have issues with tripping breakers if running both motors.  I positioned the unit next to my garage door as the 30′ hose easily reaches into my driveway for use both inside and outside.
