Net Shield is formulated using organic and inorganic hybrid polymers that once sprayed, immediately react to oxygen and cross-link on your paint. The surface tension created causes water to bead up and roll off, allowing your vehicle to stay cleaner longer. \u00a0As you can see, I missed the pad slightly and some of the product ended up directly on the paint. \u00a0This is not an issue if that is the area you are going to be working on, however you do not want to be spraying the product on an area where it will be left to dry. \u00a0I would typically spray the product away from the vehicle to avoid over spray.<\/p>\n<p>Next, spread the product onto the paint. \u00a0I prefer to use a cross hatching motion to help ensure even coverage. \u00a0Then immediately remove with a clean microfiber towel. \u00a0It is important to <strong>work in small areas<\/strong> (approx. 2&#8217;x2&#8242;) as the product can be difficult to remove, or cause streaking, if you work in larger areas. \u00a0It does not take much product to cover an area, and you may notice that you don&#8217;t have to spray your applicator before each section, as you may have enough product that has soaked into your foam pad to do several small sections before you need to add more product. \u00a0Try dabbing the applicator on the surface to release some of the product that has soaked into the pad, and then spread it out.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm8.staticflickr.com\/7273\/13972070656_4ac98d9c19_b.jpg\" alt=\"ATD | Coating Maintenance\" class=\"alignnone\"\/><\/p>\n<p><em>Photo: \u00a0SPNS is becoming known for it&#8217;s tremendous beading abilities. \u00a0It is no myth, this stuff beads water like crazy!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.detailedimage.com\/Sonax-M49\/Polymer-Net-Shield-P915\/210-ml-S1\/\">Sonax Polymer Net Shield<\/a>\u00a0is a product that I have used on several different vehicles now, and I am always pleased with the results. \u00a0The application may take a little getting used to, however it is not a difficult process and you&#8217;ll surely get the hang of it once you&#8217;ve worked a couple of sections. \u00a0SPNS provides good overall protection that helps your vehicle stay cleaner for longer periods of time, and also makes routine washing &amp; drying easier. \u00a0Due to the awesome hydrophobic properties of this sealant, it is extremely quick and easy to blow the car off with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.detailedimage.com\/Metro-Vacuums-M11\/Master-Blaster-Car-Dryer-P916\/\">Master Blaster<\/a>\u00a0if you would like to avoid using a towel.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\" src=\"https:\/\/farm4.staticflickr.com\/3732\/13257995924_3c96304463_b.jpg\" alt=\"ATD | SPNS Review\" \/><\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re looking for a nice sealant, look no further. \u00a0Sonax Polymer Net Shield is a great choice!<\/p>\n<p>Bonus Tip: Enhance your SPNS by using Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer after your maintenance washes!
