Gtechniq recently released G Wash<\/a>, a shampoo formulated to\u00a0thoroughly clean the surfaces of your vehicle while not harming any coatings present on the finish. \u00a0Since basically\u00a0every vehicle\u00a0I own has a coating of some sort, I figured this would be worth trying out.<\/p>\n

Product Description<\/h3>\n

Gtechniq G Wash is a specially formulated shampoo designed to clean your vehicle, without damaging or stripping away your Gtechniq Coatings (i.e. C1<\/a>, EXOv2<\/a>). G Wash will break the bond of dirt and other contamination from the surface, while lubricating these dirt particles. This minimizes surface abrasion, allowing you to glide your wash mitt<\/a> over your car without the fear of implementing new imperfections during the wash process. All it takes is 2 caps per bucket for light cleanings and 4 caps for cars that are more heavily soiled. This high foaming shampoo is the perfect maintenance cleaning solution, as it will not remove any sealant, coating, or wax, and it will also help enhance the gloss of any protection that is already on the surface. Once you are finished, dry off your car with a high quality microfiber drying towel (i.e. Waffle Weave Drying Towel<\/a>) and you will be amazed at how clean and sparkly your car is. This is currently only available in a 250 ml bottle, however it should\u00a0last you quite a while as it is not intended to use for every wash. \u00a0This is a pretty concentrated shampoo, so you will typically use 2 caps (2 oz. roughly) of shampoo per wash if the car is not overly dirty. \u00a0When cleaning a vehicle that is very dirty you may need to increase the amount used to as much as 4 caps (roughly 4 oz.) for more intense cleaning strength. \u00a0The first thing you will notice when opening the bottle is that is has a very pleasant scent, which is always nice when dealing with a stronger shampoo.<\/p>\n

G Wash creates a rather large amount of foam once you give a quick burst in your wash bucket with your hose or power washer. \u00a0The suds are nice slick minimizing the chances of causing any damage or abrasion during the wash process. \u00a0You will want to be sure and keep your wash mitt clean as you are working your way around the car, rinsing and rubbing in your rinse bucket\u00a0after each section.<\/p>\n

I like using the DI Microfiber Zero Cuff Chenille Wash Mitt<\/a> during my maintenance washes. \u00a0This mitt absorbs\u00a0a large amount of water and remaining foamy for a long period of time during the wash. \u00a0This product seemed to do a very nice job cleaning the surface quite easily. \u00a0If you are looking for a shampoo to use for every wash, this product might not be the one for you as it would be quite expensive as\u00a0you would go through it rather quickly if being for every wash. \u00a0I would recommend only using this every few washes.<\/p>\n

As you can see once dried it will certainly leave a nice clean glossy finish.<\/p>\n
