A good looking tire dressing is an important product to have as no vehicle looks complete without nicely finished tires. \u00a0I have reviewed several tire & trim dressings over the years, and have found many that work great for us.<\/p>\n

I have been testing this new Gtechniq T1<\/a>\u00a0for the past month and have been quite pleased with the results. \u00a0The product is a clear, relatively thin liquid which is best applied by wiping with your preferred tire applicator.<\/p>\n

The tire seen below was dressed with T1 2 weeks prior to taking this photo. \u00a0As you can tell, the tire still has a very nice sheen to it and looks nice and clean. \u00a0It is not dull and dirty, however it has certainly lost the gloss that was present after the initial application.<\/p>\n

Applying a new layer of T1 greatly enhances\u00a0the shine. \u00a0To me, this dressing is quite glossy. \u00a0Just one coat produces a shiny look as seen below.<\/p>\n

The product spreads easily which makes it simple\u00a0to produce a uniform appearance. \u00a0\u00a0The manufacturer states that you can dial in the exact amount of gloss you’d like by adding additional coats at 10 minute intervals. \u00a0We did not test multiple coats, as this is the most gloss I would personally prefer on my tires.<\/p>\n

Overall this dressing certainly meets my expectations for a quality tire shine. \u00a0It is easy to use, looks nice, and lasts for quite a while. \u00a0The tire stayed cleaner and was also very easy to clean weeks after applying the dressing. \u00a0I did not notice any slinging after application. \u00a0If you struggle with slinging tire shine, be sure to check out my previous article on how to avoid tire dressing sling<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
