{"id":20319,"date":"2016-10-18T08:00:23","date_gmt":"2016-10-18T12:00:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.detailedimage.com\/Ask-a-Pro\/?p=20319"},"modified":"2017-09-14T11:39:25","modified_gmt":"2017-09-14T15:39:25","slug":"product-review-griots-garage-boss-correcting-cream","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.detailedimage.com\/Ask-a-Pro\/product-review-griots-garage-boss-correcting-cream\/","title":{"rendered":"Product Review: Griot&#8217;s Garage BOSS Correcting Cream"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The &#8220;one-step&#8221; correction process is a very important part of my\u00a0business. \u00a0This process consists of using just one polish and pad combo to remove defects and produce a glossy finish\u00a0with no marring. \u00a0We find this service to be excellent for daily driven vehicles, or any vehicle where the expense of additional correction may not be justified due to a minor\u00a0improvement in the\u00a0final\u00a0appearance.<\/p>\n<p>In order to maximize our\u00a0results with this one-step process, we rely on having\u00a0a good medium polish that can remove a significant amount of defects without compromising the quality of the finish. \u00a0The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.detailedimage.com\/Griots-M56\/BOSS-Correcting-Cream-P1060\/16-oz-S1\/\">Griot&#8217;s BOSS Correcting Cream<\/a> has proven to do just that.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/farm9.staticflickr.com\/8749\/27999148524_6cf2683968_b.jpg\" alt=\"ATD |Griot's Correcting Cream\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Here is an example of a vehicle with typical swirl marks and scratches in the finish. \u00a0With budget in mind, and given that it is a white vehicle, the owners opted for our one-step correction option to enhance the finish.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/farm9.staticflickr.com\/8847\/28244045390_cd203108d8_b.jpg\" alt=\"Swirls in the paint - Before use of Correcting Cream\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A few passes with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.detailedimage.com\/Griots-M56\/BOSS-Correcting-Cream-P1060\/16-oz-S1\/\">Correcting Cream<\/a> on a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.detailedimage.com\/Meguiars-M43\/DA-Microfiber-Finishing-Disc-Buffing-Pad-P516\/55-S1\/\">Microfiber Finishing Pad<\/a> easily\u00a0removed all of the swirls, leaving only the deep scratches behind. \u00a0The result is a vehicle with more gloss, depth, and clarity!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/farm9.staticflickr.com\/8157\/28495517816_bd7fa2996c_b.jpg\" alt=\"Paint condition after use of the Correcting Cream\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In this example, Correcting Cream was used on a vehicle that was in very poor condition and certainly may have benefited from a multi-step correction for maximum defect removal, but just a one-step process with Correcting Cream on a Lake Country Light Cutting pad made a tremendous difference!
