The P&#038;S Brake Buster Total Wheel Cleaner is marketed as a safer (non acid) wheel cleaning option that also leaves behind corrosion inhibitors.\u00a0 It is also sold at a very generous price point.\u00a0 I decided to test this product out and give my initial impressions of it.\u00a0 Although it is stated as capable of cleaning tires as well, my testing was limited to wheels.<\/p>\n<p>I tested this wheel cleaner on my wheels shown below:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-28773\" src=\"https:\/\/www.detailedimage.com\/Ask-a-Pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/20191026_230545-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Dirty Wheel - prior to cleaning\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.detailedimage.com\/Ask-a-Pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/20191026_230545-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.detailedimage.com\/Ask-a-Pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/20191026_230545-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.detailedimage.com\/Ask-a-Pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/20191026_230545-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I sprayed a liberal amount of cleaner directly onto the wheel.<\/li>\n<li>I let sit for at least 1 minute (1 to 2 minutes) before agitating.<\/li>\n<li>Using the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.detailedimage.com\/DI-Brushes-M51\/Pro-Series-Wheel-Brush-P1559\/Soft-S2\/\">DI Pro Series Wheel Brush(Soft)<\/a>, I agitated the area very vigorously with this brush.<\/li>\n<li>Rinsed the product off.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-28752\" src=\"https:\/\/www.detailedimage.com\/Ask-a-Pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/20191026_2312030-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"DI Wheel Cleaning Brush \" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.detailedimage.com\/Ask-a-Pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/20191026_2312030-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.detailedimage.com\/Ask-a-Pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/20191026_2312030-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.detailedimage.com\/Ask-a-Pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/20191026_2312030-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-28774\" src=\"https:\/\/www.detailedimage.com\/Ask-a-Pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/20191027_045942-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"post-initial-wheel-cleaning\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.detailedimage.com\/Ask-a-Pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/20191027_045942-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.detailedimage.com\/Ask-a-Pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/20191027_045942-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.detailedimage.com\/Ask-a-Pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/20191027_045942-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Although my wheels were cleaner than average, I really wanted to challenge this wheel cleaner.\u00a0 I did not foam the product, which would have boosted the performance.\u00a0 Also normally I would use multiple kinds of brushes, including a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.detailedimage.com\/DI-Brushes-M51\/Boars-Hair-Detailing-Brush-P565\/\">DI Boars Hair Detailing Brush<\/a> to make sure hidden corners and hidden areas are thoroughly agitated.\u00a0 But I wanted to use a single (gentle) all purpose type wheel brush to give you a more accurate evaluation of the cleaner.\u00a0 The results being a mostly clean surface that would require some touching up around the corners to get the wheel perfectly clean.<\/p>\n<p>If you are to ask my opinion about this product in regards to merely personal satisfaction (PURE PERFORMANCE), the word &#8216;solid&#8217;
