With so many new hand sanitizers hitting the market, the question of product effectiveness looms.\u00a0 There are many brands, not known for sanitizers and disinfectants, producing a product significant to our current public health crisis. P&S Hand Sanitizer Isopropyl Alcohol Antiseptic<\/a><\/p>\n

How is this product different? It may not be intentional or scientific but frequent use of this product on my hands which had cuts and scrapes was quite the reassurance of how effective this product is.\u00a0 Yes, it stings!<\/p>\n

I have had the pleasure of speaking with Bob Phillips about this new product from the P&S line.<\/p>\n

After the pandemic reached the United States the FDA granted authorization for various other companies to produce hand sanitizer, with the caveat of following FDA-specific recipe guidelines.\u00a0 In other words, this product is a no thrills, straight-to-the-point sanitizer.\u00a0 For sanitizers to meet FDA specifications the alcohol mixed needs to be 80% ethanol or for isopropyl 75%.<\/p>\n

I asked about the strong alcohol smell.\u00a0 Most hand sanitizers are ethanol-based.\u00a0 This product is made with isopropyl alcohol, which has more of an odor.<\/p>\n

This product is not a gel-like formula.\u00a0 But that can be a positive.\u00a0 You can fill up a spray bottle with this product.\u00a0 Not only do I prefer the non gel formula if I am using gloves, but it can be a more cost-effective alternative when sprayed on your hands. I personally used it with the DI Accessories 4oz Pump Spray Bottle<\/a>, which keeps it on hand for easy use.<\/p>\n
