I was extremely excited to have a chance to detail this amazing Gtechniq<\/a> NASCAR Ford Mustang, the Joe Graf JR. 07! This car was extremely clean to begin with, so not much cleaning and decontamination was needed. To start, I reached for a collection of Gtechniq items. I mean, it is only right that I used the brand that sponsors this vehicle!<\/p>\n

In the beginning I took care of a nice maintenance wash, including a cleaning of the wheels and tires.<\/p>\n

After drying off the vehicle, I picked up my Rupes BigFoot MarkIII 21mm<\/a> and a Meguiar’s Microfiber Disc<\/a>. With the Rupes DA Fine Polishing Compound<\/a>, light imperfections, swirls, and oxidation were removed, leaving behind a nice finish.<\/p>\n

\"Gtechniq<\/p>\n

I love the Rag Company Eagle Edgeless Towels<\/a>, but for polish and excess coating removal I reach for the Pearl Coating Towels<\/a>. These towels have a shorter nap, so they do not bunch up during use, allowing for a much easier removal process.<\/p>\n

Just spray the Panel Wipe<\/a> onto the surface and wipe with the Pearl Edgeless Towel. It may take a few wipes or applications, but the Panel Wipe will remove excess oils on the surface, prepping it for a coating application.<\/p>\n

Speaking of coatings, we applied one of my favorite and one of our most popular coating combinations, the Crystal Serum Light<\/a> and EXO<\/a>. Top it with the C2 Ceramic Sealant<\/a> and you will have a finished surface that is not only protected for years, but looks incredibly glossy and is bound to turn heads.
