autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>In terms of YouTube video content, this is the first person I watched with respect to paint correction.\u00a0 Though I probably watched all of his detailing videos.\u00a0 I also bet the Rag Company has him to thank for quite a number of microfiber sales.\u00a0 I learned about the Rag Company, specifically the Eagle Edgeless microfiber towels at the time, from his channel.\u00a0 His tutorial on paint correction also encouraged me to purchase the Porter Cable.\u00a0 Not that protection products do not also influence visual cues, but his emphasis on polishing for looks is a great mindset for newer car detailing enthusiasts.<\/p>\n<h2>Higher-End Shops\/Detailers Blog Write-Ups<\/h2>\n<p>I would find the most high-end shops and detailers doing private collections and study their detailed write ups.\u00a0 This was how I often spent my recreation time.\u00a0 Several hours a day!\u00a0 It was obviously never the &#8216;look at how quickly we can knock these out&#8217; write ups.\u00a0 I would seek out the 30, 40, 65 hours to understand the details of the detailing.\u00a0 But this ultimately gave me the most confidence in starting a business consistent with my vision.\u00a0 It served as great validation that people would pay for and appreciate this kind of detailing.\u00a0 It was especially important knowing that I would be bombarded with judgement and expectations by mainstream society that contradict what I consider professional detailing to be.<\/p>\n<h2>Mike Phillips<\/h2>\n<p>I was chosen to be on television for detailing.\u00a0 When Mike Phillips called me, I did not fully accept that I was selected, it took an additional couple of seconds to really respond.\u00a0 I had reached a point in which I was giving new detailing enthusiasts advice.\u00a0 he noticed me.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-31041\" src=\"https:\/\/www.detailedimage.com\/Ask-a-Pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/20160311_171609-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"1933-Rolls-Royce-Phantom-II\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.detailedimage.com\/Ask-a-Pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/20160311_171609-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.detailedimage.com\/Ask-a-Pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/20160311_171609-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.detailedimage.com\/Ask-a-Pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/20160311_171609-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.detailedimage.com\/Ask-a-Pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/20160311_171609-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.detailedimage.com\/Ask-a-Pro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/20160311_171609-2048x1152.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Kevin Brown<\/h2>\n<p>Someone asked a question on a detailing forum and Kevin Brown made a contribution.\u00a0 I asked a question, as I was about to do the first paint correction on a car besides my own.\u00a0 Although I do not use the polishes and same type of abrasive technology, he gave me an incredibly detailed answer.\u00a0 Since then I made a conscious effort to study his work on post and YouTube content.<\/p>\n<p>I know what started as a personal about me quickly evolved into a celebration of those in this industry.\u00a0 I have learned many of these people who are not only the pinnacle of detailing excellence, but they are great human beings.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am asked often by people, representatives of the detailing industry and especially clients, about my detailing journey.\u00a0 How do I know so much?\u00a0 How did I learn about this (detailing)?\u00a0 How did I get on TV, etc?
