Basing Everything Off Of Your Last Experience?<\/h2>\n

It is not fair, appropriate, or practical to lump all businesses together based on the category of detailing.\u00a0 Think about most businesses.\u00a0 Even Target and Walmart may not necessarily carry the exact same types of products.\u00a0 They certainly carry different brands.\u00a0 There are McDonald’s, chain eateries, and venues owned by small business owners.\u00a0 All call themselves restaurants.\u00a0 As nonsensical as it seems to assume they are exactly the same, this is common attitude for many people calling a detailing business.<\/p>\n

The Problem With Doing It Yourself<\/h2>\n

Hear me out, I actually encourage this for those with lower budgets but also have higher expectations.\u00a0 I was one of those people.\u00a0 I also encourage people to do basic things for their car regardless of budget.\u00a0 What I see is a more complex problem.\u00a0 People’s attitude about detailing is the issue.\u00a0 Many consumers are easily manipulated by made for television gimmicks and tricks.\u00a0 It is not an issue about doing it yourself.\u00a0 I encourage doing your own detailing.\u00a0 It is the arrogance and false bravado that comes from people that do not understand why we charge so much, that is the real issue.<\/p>\n

A BUSINESS OWNER Does Not Work For You<\/h2>\n

Do you want expertise when it is only convenient for you?\u00a0 That attitude hurts you.\u00a0 You, by also attracting operations with that attitude, will experience unethical practices.\u00a0 We tend to match our services with your expectations but taking it to the extreme is another reason why consumers are disappointed.\u00a0 I have seen many examples of customers underwhelmed by exactly what they asked for.\u00a0 Part of finding a reputable (ethical) business means finding someone capable of saying no and willing to tell you what you want you don\u2019t want to hear.\u00a0 You are not obligated to purchase a service from anyone.\u00a0 There is a flip side to that.\u00a0 A business owner is not obligated to perform an act they are uncomfortable providing or is not of the standard they would put their name behind.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
