Upscale Detail Co. has grown from a small mobile operation to one of the premier automotive care studios in the Southeast.\u00a0 With a showroom and 4,000 square feet of specialized bays for PPF, ceramic coatings, and tint, the brand stands as a testament to what passion, discipline, and relentless commitment to quality can build.\u00a0 For Jared Clasen, the mission goes far beyond making cars look their best.\u00a0 It is about raising the bar the entire industry, one vehicle and one relationship at a time.<\/p>\n

Rodney:\u00a0 What inspired you to start Upscale Detail Co.?\u00a0 What motivated you to focus on premium-level services?<\/p>\n

Jared:\u00a0 “I started Upscale out of curiosity.\u00a0 While serving as an active-duty Infantry Officer, I discover detailing during a lull at Captain Career Course.\u00a0 I soon realized how much I loved it.\u00a0 My first business was called JJS Squeaky Clean Mobile Detailing, but quickly realized that if I wanted to build a top-tier shop, I need to rebrand and set my sights on quality from the ground up.\u00a0 That’s when Upscale Detail Co. was born.”<\/p>\n

Jared:\u00a0 How important is aligning your services with your vision and core values?<\/p>\n

Rodney:\u00a0 Aligning our services with our vision and core values is everything.\u00a0 If someone doesn’t perform at our shop and doesn’t embody our core values, they simply won’t last here.\u00a0 Our top priority is to consistently perform and exceed customer expectations.\u00a0 Every service, every interaction, and every decision we make has to reflect our commitment to excellence and the high-end experience our brand represents.<\/p>\n

Challenges of Performing Advanced Services At A High Level (Recalling His Military Mindset)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rodney:\u00a0 What challenges have you faced offering beyond basic services and selling clients on a high-attention-to-detail brand?<\/p>\n

Jared:\u00a0 Introducing advanced services like Paint Protection Film (PPF) and window tinting was a major challenge.\u00a0 These services demand an immense amount of training and precision to get top results.\u00a0 The way we overcame that was by being transparent with our clients from day one; clearly setting expectations and being honest about our learning curve.\u00a0 At the same time, we invested heavily in training to get ahead quickly.\u00a0 (My mentality is) there’s always someone better than you.\u00a0 So train like it!<\/p>\n

Loyalty Is Everything<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rodney:\u00a0 What does it mean to you to see a client return several years later for another long-term protection service?<\/p>\n
