I am not going to start by saying ‘if you are a real detailer, you should blah blah blah’ all these things.\u00a0 That is obnoxious, for one!\u00a0 Those people likely have not experienced business success my peers aspire to, or they would find better things to do with their time.\u00a0 Also, likewise they too are probably overrating their own detailing acumen.<\/p>\n

Conclusion, life is not going to end if you are not perfect or the greatest detailer.\u00a0 Also, as particular as I am about my car, most people who pay good money are more concerned about two things.\u00a0 Blatantly being incompetent, particularly regarding DAMAGING a car.\u00a0 The other is integrity and professionalism.\u00a0 Being cheaper is not going to save you from and probably encourage a picky customer.\u00a0 A major reason why no one talks about it is their perception of you versus actual care about their car.\u00a0 They don’t really care about their car that much, compared to the less picky enthusiasts willing to spend more.\u00a0 Their anger at every little detail missed or perceived missed has more to do with their animosity that they any more at all than at one of the cheapest car washes.\u00a0 That is why they also simultaneously may complain about it taking so long while demanding better results than a disaster makeover.<\/p>\n
