After being dried you are left with a very glossy and slick finish with no ugly water spots. After Wash does have a gloss enhancer which does seem to give the paint that extra little pop. If you're looking to make you drying process even slightly easier, give Chemical Guys After Wash a try as you won't be disappointed.

Would they buy this item again? No
Overrated. Bought both sizes of this based on ratings and videos on the CG website. Haven't seen my black car in full sunlight cause I was drying at dusk, but from what I could tell it's no better than using Meg's Last Touch or ONR for lubricity when drying. Wish I'd skipped on the gallon, especially given the price and the fact that it's an RTU product. Suppose I've got a little buyers remorse. Should've known better. For $50 per gallon, there are MUCH better options out there. Can get protection for less with D156 or CG V7. Ive used all the above mentioned products on a wet car with similar results.
UPDATE: So I'm going to amend my previous review. Do I think the product is overpriced as simply a drying aid? Yes. I stand by that statement. But after using it a couple more times and seeing the results on my black Avalon I have to say the gloss enhancers in this product produce AMAZING results. On one occasion I washed the car using CG Extreme Body Wash & Wax (that I wish could be ordered from DI) and the results were astounding for a simple maintenance wash. From a distance and in pictures my car looked as though I'd spent the entire day on a 3 step cut, polish and wax. So from that perspective I suppose it could be worth the cost. But I doubt it would produce those results on a neglected car.

This Afterwash is GREAT especially in the hot weather when your washing the car and it starts drying before you can finish wiping it down with a microfiber towel. I just spray it on the towel then spray it on the area I'm drying and it removes any water spots that may have formed and also prevents scratching that can occur when drying. Plus it leaves a nice protective shine on the whole vehicle even the plastic trim. Highly recommend this product, you can't go wrong.
Great product. Really helps dry the car and allows for a deep gloss that is enhanced by a polymer spray afterwards. Use it on dark cars and the color is very deep and the light cars look wet. Will definitely buy again.
Used this product on my black 2015 Infiniti Q70. Drying was easier, left no water marks and finish looks fantastic. I recommend this product with out hesitation . I had purchase the 16oz first and than ordered the larger size. Worth the money😎
Used this on a black Escalade and it really did seem to make the drying easier. Surface did appear a bit "DEEPER" but it was also getting dark outside. I will buy this again.
Used on my 2003 jet black bmw, and my dad's 2014 Chevy Impala (dark metallic blue) gives an awesome shine and gloss to the paint and like Drew noted, i use it to help prevent swirl marks and lubricate the paint when drying. With the Honey Dew soap and this it leaves my car immaculate after washes. Will definitely buy again.
I bought this because my Tundra has very soft black paint. It get swirls very easily. I wash with the 2 bucket method and dry with a leaf blower but still need to wipe it down to avoid waterspots. I was looking to add something to the drying stage that would lubricate the paint when drying with a microfiber. This fit the bill and performed as advertised.
