Have you ever bought a detail/cleaning product that was so good that after the first use, you started looking around for something else to use it on? Well, CG Metalwax is that product. The day it arrived, I used it on a Nardi steering wheel that looked decent but I knew could be better. Metalwax brought the spokes to another level...removed not only oxidation but also micro scratches. Looked like the day I installed it 10 years ago. I have used over 20 metal polishes including Simichrome, Flitz, Blue Magic and so on. Nothing comes close to this CG product. Great consistency, easy on/off and the wax component puts it over the top. Bargain product of the year!

This is by far the best and easiest wheel polish that I have ever used. Apply a small drop onto a microfiber towel and simply rub the wheel surface to lift all the baked in stuff out. It's amazing that how much dirt comes out despite looking quite nice at the beginning. Best part is all the old stuff are gone after a few applications but remember to keep using the clean side of the microfiber to buff. Another good point is that one bottle can last a long time. Hit up Chrome wheels on 'Wifes' car which got pretty bad. I was amazed at how incredibly bright/shiny they came. Thought I'd have to burn some nerve endings on fingers, but this worked easily. Tried it on a few other surfaces, metal trim etc. and it worked great... The best was, I used it on a stainless steel watch case/band and could not believe the black oxidation that came off! Watch looks brand new... Even took away some marks I thought were scratches. Great stuff and great price here on DI!

Great product! This is my go to polish for everything from exhaust tips to license plate frames. It easily removes oxidation and leaves a gorgeous finish. It is easy to apply and effortless to remove. Everyone needs to have this in their collection.

After trying multiple other cleaners/polishes with not-so spectacular results, I decided to give CG a try. I use other products by them, and they are fantastic. This was easy to apply, and remove. It's a more solid but easy to spread substance. It worked wonders on some aluminum rims I picked up that were quite oxidized. I also used it on my chrome rockers and bumpers. The directions are correct, if side metal is to be polished, go up and down, and if on top, go side to side. FOLLOW!!! Great stuff, found a winner! Tossed the rest of my old stuff.

After buying a set billet wheels for my car, I did a lot of reading on what to use to polish them and most people use that Mom's stuff which I never really cared for. On one forum, someone recommended CG Metal Polish and one other brand as the best out there. Well, after using this on several different types of metals, I'm blown away with this stuff. It literally melts oxidization off with half the work of pastes and creams I've used before. I now have three friends using it after they tried mine - and they're getting it from Detailed Image.

A great product. The consistency is somewhere between a liquid and a paste, which makes application easy. I had great success using a small foam painting brush to apply the cleaner - it gave me a high degree of control and prevented contaminating my waxed surfaces. Buff with a microfiber cloth and you're good to go.

Hands down the best polish for any aluminum. Nothing else comes close or makes it's way into our shop.

I used this to detail my dad's Harley. It REALLY cleaned up the chrome and aluminum, even after sitting in a dusty garage and a few rides the chrome still has amazing reflection and a great shine.

not sure if there is difference but i ordered this polish and got medium duty not fine like we are buying? did i get wrong polish for my chrome?

I consider myself a metal connoisseur. I own and have polished a lot of it, and this is one category where I can say products are either good or they suck. CG MetalWax passed my test for a number of reasons. First off, the liquid consistency versus a paste is bliss. You’re able to much easier get into nooks and crannies on intricate details. The setup time is awesome as well. I can let it sit, or buff off after apply almost immediately after. The product doesn’t spread while buffing off nearly as much as others I’ve tried in the past, and made removing much easier. The protection is evident as the rain that hit the bike the next day beaded water like crazy. Two months later and another rain storm, they are still looking great and repelling water.

I got this to clean up the exhaust tips and did they turn out awesome. Customer was blown away at how the chrome look came back. Told me that the last time he's seen his chrome pipes look that shiny was when he had purchased the car new.
