DI Accessories Polishing Pal Product Reviews
Customer Reviews
Nice design, but started crumbling after 6 years. Definitely an age thing--my other lake county DA backing plates also failed around the 6 year point. If you are good buying again every 5 years, its fine.
Paired the "Pal" with a LC 4 in black pad to apply P21S Paint Cleansing Lotion to strip old wax. Great results, and my hand did not get tired. Changed to 4in LC white pad with CG V38 polish to deal with fine MF towel scratches and allowed me to work through my SUV roof without tiring my hand. Switched to another LC black to apply CG Blacklight - the Pal allowed me to work in this glaze/polish/sealant and really get a lot of pop to the paint. This is a great little investment allowing you to quickly move from pad to pad and keep your hands clean and less tired. Since I have arthritis in my hands this product really helps me get the most from various products. Thanks DI!.
I am not ready to move up to a DA yet, so this product allows me to use the same pads. It is very comfortable as there is some cushion in the handle. I have been able to remove scratches and swirls with this product combined with appropriate pads and compounds. I am surprised that I have not found a similar product from any other company.
Keeps hands free of sealant or wax. More comfortable for fingers and hands than a regular foam pad. Easy to apply wax or sealant to large areas. One still has to use a smaller foam pad in tight places. Used with the suggested Lake Country 4 inch pad. I am glad I purchased it.
A must have if you're doing an entire car by hand. The device has some cushion to it and doesn't work your hand like a hard plastic block will. Highly recommended, especially at the price.
Great way to apply product for a large surface area!
Great tool for when I am not using the porter cable. I can apply product via hand quicker, thinner, more consistently, and more comfortably using this polishing pal.
Great easy way of saving the fingers in tight spots.
very nice compared to using nothing. must have a larger applicator pad though for fear of making contact with paint.
