DI Brushes Boar's Hair Car Wash Brush Product Reviews
Customer Reviews
Good quality brush, had one of these for over 20 years, it works great. If your worried about scratches, first rinse car thoroughly, soak brush for 15 minutes before use. Detailed Image had the best price I could find.
Quality of brush is nice BUT on the 2 vehicles I've used it on I now have fine scratches all around vehicle. For the money expected allot more, will stick to micro fiber wash mitts.
Great brush, crazy soft! Only down fall is the brush does not fit in a normal 5 gallon bucket. I used a miter saw to trim the sides down to make it fit.
Bought this for my lazy day quick washes and have come to realize it does leave scratches. Was using it on my white truck so I wasn't giving it a critical eye. Just used it on my black Volvo and after I pulled it into my garage to dry off under the LED I noticed all the brush strokes on the hood that weren't there a week ago. Maybe it's a little softer paint but it's not worth the risk. Back to microfiber for me.
Had one of these before and it got stolen from my truck. I've been missing it for a year. So when they were discounted and the best price I could find I got it from Detailed Image. Works the same as the one I had for the last 10 years. No evidence of scratching. I rinse the brush between panels and use high quality soaps.
Anything can swirl, aka scratch paint. This brush is the safest brush you can buy. Rinse the vehicle thoroughly before introducing soapy water and any wash element. Use a good soap too. Lubrication and light pressure equal success!
This item is horrific, it scratched my black car completely. Perhaps I received the wrong item, but now it is used as a bench top brush. Do Not waste your money.
Beautiful quality, works as advertised. If you enjoy car care, you need this, the best price always, I would always check Detailed Image first!!!
If you are detailing your car or boat without a Boars Hair Brush..... then your not detailing...... simple as that...... these brushes dont promote the micro scratches known as "Spider Webbing" especially on dark paints. Buy one and own it for 10 years or more..... quality lasts and these are no exception!!
