Product Description
The Porter Cable 7424 comes with a standard 6" counter weight, which helps balance out the weight distribution as the buffer spins when used with the Lake Country 6" Backing Plate. The larger counterweight is designed to help reduce vibration so you can operate the buffer with more control and improved ease of use. With the Lake Country 5" Backing Plate you can use the 5" counter weight to help better balance the buffer.Customer Reviews
Bought to add the 5" backing plate and 3 pads all worked perfect
Product shipped fast. This company was one of the only ones to carry it in the 5". Just got a new porter cable da polisher. Going to use it with 5" pads.
Bought this to convert my 6" RO sander to a 5" unit with dust collection. The counter weight works fine but it was difficult to get the old counterweight off because the old counterweight was put on with thread locker.
