Bought to add the 5" backing plate and 3 pads all worked perfect

Product shipped fast. This company was one of the only ones to carry it in the 5". Just got a new porter cable da polisher. Going to use it with 5" pads.

Bought this to convert my 6" RO sander to a 5" unit with dust collection. The counter weight works fine but it was difficult to get the old counterweight off because the old counterweight was put on with thread locker.

Using the heavier counterweight seems to give the PC more inertial power to rotate better. When I went back to the weight for the 5", I seem to have lost a significant amount of pad rotation. They're very easy to swap out, and it's probably a good idea to keep both on hand for sanding purposes. I'll keep trying to see if anything changes.

I also bought this for a HF 6" DA, and it fits perfectly, except I trimmed the "wings" of the weight to use it with a 3.5" backing plate. Works great!

I have the porter cable DA polisher and it comes with a 6 inch back plate. I picked this 5 inch back plate up to see if it would make a difference for my 5 inch pads. The installation was simple with only 2 screws to remove to replace the backing pad. Once it was replaced with the 5 inch counterweight back plate, the polisher's vibration was instantly noticeable. I should have bought this sooner!

I purchased this for my Harbor Freight Chicago Electric DA and it fit just great! Cut down on the vibration with my 5" backer pad.

I looked everywhere for the 5 inch counterweight and this is the ONLY place I could find it. Don't know why it is so hard to find but I am sure glad you guys carry it! Works great with 5 inch diamond abrasive wheels I am using on a flooring repair job--no vibration!

I purchased this with my buffer when I first got it and have been used to having it. Last weekend I tried my friend's without one and wow... this is a NEED if you have a PC! It helps so much.
