Glass has tiny micro pores where contamination like road grime, acid rain, water marks, etc. can easily collect. Dirty wiper blades will add micro-scratches that provide more areas for contaminants to accumulate. Therefore it is important to regularly deep clean your glass and seal the micro pores. By sealing the micro pores you’ll force moisture to bead up and roll off the glass much easier, which will help eliminate the smearing you’ll get when using your wiper blades. Now you can drive in rain, sleet and snow with better vision and more time to react to driving conditions.

Washing your glass with regular automotive shampoo helps remove loose contaminants. Unfortunately many contaminants are deeply embedded in the glass or etched in to the surface, which requires a deep cleaning from the Glass Science Glass Scrub. Wet your exterior glass, then apply a nickel sized drop of the Glass Scrub on a foam applicator and buff it on your glass in a circular motion. Use medium pressure and spend more time on problem areas. 1 – 2 applications of product should be enough to do all of the exterior glass. When you’re done, thoroughly rinse down your glass and dry it. Drying the glass quickly and easily is important because unfiltered water naturally has mineral deposits in it that can etch in to your glass and clear coat and leave stubborn stains. We recommend you dry your vehicle quickly in a shaded area upon completion. Apply a dime to nickel sized drop of Rain Clear Gel to a Yellow Foam Applicator Pad and buff it on to your exterior glass in a overlapping circular motion. Reapply more product to your applicator as needed for complete coverage. Buff off the remaining residue with a clean All Purpose Microfiber Towel. Follow up with a Glass Microfiber Towel to ensure no residue is left behind.

Moving on to the interior glass, we recommend you use the Stoner Invisible Glass, 2x All Purpose Microfiber Towels and 1x Glass Microfiber Towel. Spray a light mist of the Stoner Invisible Glass directly on an All Purpose Microfiber Towel and wipe the interior glass down. Remove the majority of the cleaning solution with a separate slightly damp All Purpose Microfiber Towel. Lastly use the Glass Microfiber Towel to do a final wipe down and ensure no streaks are left behind. This towel has a special low nap design to make solid contact with the surface and leave no residue behind.

Now your glass should look very clean and clear with fantastic protection. You’ll notice moisture rolls off the glass much easier and you have improved visibility during hazardous driving conditions.
