The 3M Paint Defender system consists of three products, the Paint Defender Application Kit, the Paint Defender Spray, and the Paint Defender Spray Trigger (all pictured above). Simply unravel the Application Kit’s plastic sheeting to cover your car. Use a pair of scissors to cut a hole in the plastic to uncover the areas you want to treat with the Paint Defender Spray. Then you can use the included masking tape to tape the plastic down and to create a clean edge for the film. This Application Kit includes enough plastic sheeting and masking tape for multiple protection jobs! Once this kit is applied you can spray the Paint Defender Spray film onto the uncovered painted area of your vehicle and the liquid will dry to a continuous clear film! For easier and more even spraying attach the 3M Paint Defender Spray Trigger to the Paint Defender Spray before application. Once you let this spray dry, you will be left with a clear film that will protect your paint from rock chips, bugs, sand, salt, and other everyday driving hazards! This film easily lasts a year and can last much longer but when you want to remove it simply peel it off the surface.
