What do you use to clean a chromed plastic pieces on a car? For example on my 04 Jaguar the front grille in made of plastic, however it has a chrome look to it or is chromed. What to use to clean it?

Hi Mike, and thanks for the (common) question.
I know the type of chromed or chrome-look plastic components that you’re speaking about, because I have a bit on my Acura as well.
After doing my normal wash to ensure that the surface is clean, I find that the product I reach for most often is Klasse All-In-One. It’s a cleaner / polish / and sealant (all-in-one), so you’re knocking out several steps with one product and one process. I have a piece of black-chromed plastic on the trunk lid of my car that will get a foggy look to it with heavy dirt buildup after the harsh winter in particular. All I need is to grab a soft microfiber cloth and some Klasse AIO after washing it, then lightly rub it in to clean, polish, and protect. By itself you will get months of protection out of it, but you can also top it off with your favorite sealant if you like.
Not only is Klasse AIO great for cleaning / polishing / protecting these chromed plastic parts, but it’s also a tremendous product for painted surfaces, metal (exhaust tips), windshield wiper arms, rims, and just about any hard surface. There’s always at least one area on each car I detail that I use Klasse AIO on.
