IK just released some information on the new IK Foam Pro 12, which is a welcome addition to the already awesome IK lineup. The IK Foam 9 Sprayer was already a popular product for any detailer looking to foam a large surface area, without the use of a pressure washer/foam gun combination. The Foam Pro 12 takes the Foam 9 and simply enhances it to work, well, even better!
Some of these new features include:
- Stainless steel shut off valve
- Safety locking system
- 60 psi safety valve
- Color cards for chemical identification
- 3 foam tips for different foam types
- Footstep with no wobble base
- High-quality pump handle
But the best part of this new unit is the … air compressor application. You heard that right, there is an option to hook this unit up to an air compressor if you do not want to pump the unit up! With the shrader valve attachment, the same type of value you find on tires, you can fill this unit with air. That means no more pumping and pumping and, well, pumping. The auto-release safety value will pop up if the pressure is too high, so no need to worry about it blowing up.
