With the cooler weather rolling in, the winter season is upon us! If you have not started it yet, now is the time to start protecting your vehicles from salt, dirt, grime, snow, ice and more. Waxes and sealants will work fantastic, but sometimes we are looking for something to provide a little extra protection. That is when I personally reach for a coating as coatings not only look great, but will protect for much longer than waxes and sealants. Before application, you will have to thoroughly prep your paint for a coating to adhere properly and after application, you will need to care for coatings correctly. These extra steps allow you to get the most out of a coating layer, however, the protection and overall looks of coatings in my opinion make this extra detailing effort well worth it.
