MTE Mobile Tech Expo 2026 was an incredible event filled with energy, education, and nonstop conversations with passionate detailing industry professionals. From product demonstrations, to hands on competitions and networking opportunities, this year’s show did not disappoint. It is always inspiring to connect with detailers and industry leaders who are pushing the industry forward. Events like this remind us why we love being part of this industry!

We are already looking forward to next year and we cannot wait to see what is in store.

Below are some shots of the setup for the correction contest and a shot of a 7 year old that stole the show! Emma Lazo of Ding King and James Melfi are shown on the leaderboard, which was taken in the middle of the contest. This leaderboard changed as the contest continued and unfortunately Emma or James were not able to take home the title, but they had some amazing attempts!

And to wrap it up, the following individuals have been nominated by their peers and inducted into the IDA Hall of Fame. These inductions were announced at MTE and are based on each individual’s significant and lasting contributions to the professional detailing industry! Congratulations to Daniel Baker, Meghan Poirier, Rob Schruefer and Robert Wrasman!
