A lot of people have overlooked what I told them, often because they found others who validated what they wanted to hear.  I am not going to do that.  This is also an example of why I make a big deal about talking to people in person prior to booking.  Often a conversation has led to people thinking, ‘this is not for me.’  They are right.

Your Paint Aging And Deteriorating

I will be told oxidation.  I see the car in person to usually find that it is not the case, or essentially not the real issue.  The paint is delaminated.

Some will actually argue or discredit my knowledge on this.  I suspect many people who waste resources and time in the long run are not going to call and acknowledge what we both know about someone’s promises that are temporary band-aids.

There is no way around the reality of what I am telling you.  Defect removal and gloss (for long term).

The swirls are back, and my detailer said they were removed.  That is new damage!  The complaint is the equivalent of having heart surgery, going on an exercise and diet regiment; later continues doing the exact or moderately the same poor lifestyle choices.  Imagine that person complaining to their surgeon or primary care doctor, blaming them for being in poor health years later.  This often happens in the professional detailing world.

Just because someone speaks your language, example buffing does not make their statements factual.  In fact, that is more a concern.  Someone who is a little too excited to provide you a ceramic coating service, without any caveat, is a concern.

Conclusion

I started by stating consumers who passed on me, went to someone who told them what they wanted to hear, whether price or expectation.  I am often curious why would they go to me if the OTHER GUY/GIRL etc? I think that is an answer we all know.  I am not the only reputable detailing business you could pose that rhetorical question for. The reality in conclusion car detailing, often professional, is not for a number of people.  Kicking the tires, does not make you a car enthusiast.
