    Hey Reece…
I have a Makita rotary polisher. Trying to sift through the 10 million products out here and all I know is Meguiars is an old name and respected. So…
    …for a one-step what is recommended?
… for 1200 grit sanded surface, what compound/polish combo is recommended?
… for light scratch and swirl removal, what is recommended?
My thoughts are to use all foam pads at this point.
    Thanks for your input!

I would inspect the surface and start with a light polishing combo first. Perform a test spot and only pump up the power as needed. For some of my favorite combinations:

Light: Sonax Perfect Finish – Lake Country HDO Orange
Heavy: Menzerna 400 – Lake Country HDO Blue

OK cool thx. Do you have any experience with the Meguiars D110 and D210? See them on the tube quite a bit.
        Thx again

        • Reece @ DI says:

Jeff – The polishes I listed finish down better and offer an easier wipe off, but the M110 and M210 are both good options as well.
