I took my black 1979 Ferrari 308 GTS to a repair shop to have some work done today. I inherited the car from my father that passad away in Oct. 2010. I noticed some funny looking spots in or on the paint. I showed it to the repair guy and he said he thinks I’am having minor cracking in the clear coat and I mean minor. You have to get 6″ away to see it. Can a detailer fix. Can it be polished out?
Hi David my name is Jay I own and operate Jays Auto Detail, anyways about your little problem yes it probably can be buffed out with the proper compounds but keep in mind that I haven’t seen the car personally so the next option will be wet sanding the car..hope this posting was helpful for you! Good luck
