I have 2007 black passat where my daughter washed it with a brillo pad did not see the effects till this morning ahhhhh! There are swirling scratches not deep at all what do I do to lift these?
Typically speaking, an abrasive like that will leave scratches that are too deep to fix by hand and will require aggressive machine polishing to fix. You could first try a product like Meguiar’s ScratchX, and if that doesn’t work, you’ll need to look into a paint correction detail.
