Detailing Products: Not Just for Vehicles!
by Reece @ DICar detailing products are incredibly versatile and can be surprisingly effective around the house. I have found some real gems that have made my cleaning routine much easier and more efficient.
Drying Dishes:
I do not have a dishwasher and let me tell you, drying dishes can be a tedious chore. The wife asks for a dish washer yearly, but why pick one up when you can just keep a drying towel on hand! These microfiber towels are designed to absorb water quickly and safely from car paint, but work wonders on drying dishes. No more water spots or streaks and you can use them on your silverware, plates, chefs knives and so much more.
The Rag Company The Gauntlet and Autofiber Amphibian: These microfiber towels are incredibly durable and effective. I use them to dry all sorts of surfaces, from plates, to countertops, to appliances.
Cleaning … Everything?
Geist Surface & Screen Cleaner: This is my go-to for just about everything. From my laptop and phone screens to my glasses, TV, and even my glass dining table, it leaves surfaces sparkling clean without streaks or smears.
Paper Towel Alternative:
Rag Company Rip N’ Rags are a fantastic eco-friendly alternative to paper towels. Simply pull off a sheet, use it for cleaning, wash it, and reuse it countless times.
Bathroom Bliss:
Ceramic Coatings or SiO2 sprays: These are a game-changer for mirrors and glass shower doors. They create a hydrophobic barrier that repels water, making them much easier to clean and preventing streaks.
Carpet Care:
P&S Terminator Enzyme Spot & Stain Remover: This powerful cleaner is a lifesaver for dealing with spills and pet accidents on carpets and rugs. It effectively removes stains and eliminates odors.

I have used the P&S interior system (Terminator, Carpet Bomber and Finisher) on the area rugs when our dog has the occasional “accident”, Optimum No Rinse for washing floors and TRC’s Rip N’ Rags and other microfibers for general “detailing” around the house.
