Gtechniq Unveils New Products at MTE

MTE has always been more than a place to show new products for us. It’s where we connect with detailers face to face, talk openly about chemistry, and share where Gtechniq is heading next. Going into 2026, that focus was front and center, and this year’s show gave us the opportunity to highlight both what’s new and what’s still on the way.

One of the highlights of MTE was having Lee Kennedy, Gtechniq’s Head Chemist, on site to host an educational seminar for attendees. Lee broke down how modern detailing chemistry works, why certain ingredients matter, and how surface protection continues to evolve. Education has always been a core part of Gtechniq, and sessions like this give detailers a better understanding of what’s actually happening at the surface level, not just what a label claims.

We also continued to support GT ONE, our one year ceramic coating designed to be as versatile and approachable as possible. GT ONE is safe for paint, glass, trim and other exterior surfaces, making it a true all in one solution. It is extremely easy to apply, has a very long working time, and does not require paint correction to deliver strong results. For mobile detailers in particular, GT ONE is a strong upsell option, allowing them to offer ceramic protection efficiently without adding time or complexity to the job. We’re shooting for a spring launch!

On the product development side, 2026 is shaping up to be a big year.

One of the major announcements at MTE was a new sugar based snow foam, developed as the next evolution of W4 Citrus Foam. This updated formula focuses on strong pre-wash cleaning power while being gentler on protected surfaces. The sugar based chemistry improves foam stability and dwell time, helping lift dirt and grime more effectively while maintaining compatibility with coatings and sealants. It represents a meaningful step forward in safe, effective pre-wash cleaning.

We also previewed an upcoming rinseless wash that takes a very different approach from many options currently on the market. This formula is designed to clean effectively without leaving polymers, gloss enhancers, or residues behind. Nothing is left on the surface, which means no interference with coatings, sealants, or maintenance products. For professionals and enthusiasts who care about surface purity and consistency, this is a significant development.

These launches are part of a broader push heading into 2026. We are continuing to refine existing products, introduce new technologies, and expand the lineup in ways that make sense for real world detailing. From wash processes to long term protection, the focus remains on chemistry that works with the surface, not on top of it.

And we’re not done yet.

2026 is slated to be one of our most active years for new products and upgrades, with more announcements still to come.

If you attended MTE or caught Lee’s seminar, we’d love to hear your thoughts. And if you’re curious about what’s next, stay tuned. This is just the beginning.
