Introducing the Rupes BigFoot Mark V Polishers!
by Reece @ DISome exciting news from Rupes…introducing the new Mark V units! This update brings in some tweaks to the already popular Mark III units and below is some information from Rupes to help explain exactly what was done in this update. Now, you might be asking what happened to the IV, well, due to some countries considering 4 to be an unlucky number and Rupes considering their awesome battery powered units (iBrid HLR21 and iBrid HLR15) as their 4th iterations in this incredible polisher line.
- 47% percent noise reduction from the previous Mark III.
- New one block head cover. Helps reduce vibration, smoother operation, improves user comfort and enhances overall tool durability.
- The eccentric set is smaller and more compact, reducing weight to the unit, minimizing energy loss and vibration for a higher-quality finish.
- New anti-spinning ring helps reduce friction and heat while polishing and the vent slots keep the motor cool and allow for superior ventilation.
- The Mark V is 13mm shorter than the Mark III (a 10% reduction), lowering the tools center of gravity for enhanced control and reduced slipping.
- PrecisonPro Backing Plate is incredibly thin, yet balanced and durable. Rubber edge protects delicate surfaces and aids in control and precision in tight spaces.

For the kits, there are two options, the BAS Kit and LUX Kit for each of the LHR15 and LHR21. The BAS Kit comes with pads, polishes, microfiber towels and a cord clamp. The LUX Kit has everything the BAS Kit has, but adds more pads, an extra polish, an extra microfiber towel, polisher bag, apron and pad claw.
