P21S 100% Carnauba Paste Wax Review
by Eric SchusterWhile on the search for another wax to compliment Blackfire Wet Diamond Sealant in my ever expanding arsenal of products, I came across P21S’ 100% Carnauba Wax. At a mere $50 per can, I figured, why not give it a shot! I mean, I have tried out the $100 jars, the $175 jars, and even some slightly more expensive paste waxes in the past, so trying out a $50 jar seems to fit the budget just a tad easier!
First glance:
This wax comes in a 6.2oz jar, slightly more than some other waxes I have purchased (6oz.) The bonus, it comes with a much more ergonomic applicator which makes applying the wax that much easier. The wax itself is white with a slight yellow hue to it. This tells me its going to be to a warm, glowing wax compared to a bright, reflective wax.
Application:
After immediately applying this wax to the first panel, I could tell this one was going to spread a long way. The saying holds true, “a little goes a long way” with this wax, making the purchase that much more worthwhile! Anytime you can get more for your buck is always a good thing! Super smooth application and a buttery feel while spreading!
Removal:
After applying to the entire car, I was “killing time” waiting for it to setup and cure on the paint like I do with BFWD. Well, after reading the label on the jar, I read “apply to one panel and remove”. Oops! I rushed over to start the removal and thought to myself, by the time I get to the end, its going to be a bear to remove. NOPE, the last panel was just as easy to remove as the first panel. The wax came off like butter!
Immediate satisfaction:
After wiping off the car, I tidied up the interior a bit, cleaned up my work area and then decided to check for slickness. I flung a towel across the hood of the car and it slid all the way across not losing speed at all. This wax was extremely slick and smooth to the touch! The paint had a warm glow to the look which really impressed both the client and myself. I always prep my cars with the same routine, Menzerna 85rd and CGEZCG then sealant/wax, so I could tell the difference just a bit in comparison to other waxes I have used.
Overall, I would put this wax up there with the higher dollar waxes. We all know the look of the car changes more with the prep involved, but if you are looking for a warm glowing end result, this should be your go to wax!

Wow! the car looks amazing. It’s so smooth it almost looks animated.
Thanks for the write up Eric! This photos should make folks bigger fans of Menzerna micro. I was wondering, how does, the 100% compares to Blackfire midnight & CG Pete’s? Warmth, gloss, depth wise. Thanks again.
There is no WAX that have 100% Carnauba Wax, There are White Carnauba and yellow carnauba.
If you have 10 to 30 % of carnauba it will be very expensive, but worth the price.

P21S’ 100% Carnauba Wax What probable the mean is that no filler have been added. But again no wax can affod to have 100 of PURE Brazilian Carnauba
Dear Eric,
Have you worked at all with the concours wax ‘old’ version of the 100%? If so any thoughts on it?
Thank you in advance for the answer.
Kind regards
Kostas
I havent used that wax. honestly, I use blackfire wet diamond for every car, and since I dont have many cars in my possession 8 hours after I lay it on, I never top a car. but if I did, it would be p21s 100%!!!

I have been searching for a wax for my new Aston Martin Vantage S.. Then I found P21S. The car is only 4 months old so I was pretty careful about its first wax post delivery and what a fantastic result. Very impressed with the way this product works
