New Menzerna 300 and more! [SEMA Show 2014]

by

We were happy to see Menzerna at SEMA this year and they were really excited to share some new items with us. While there were several new items the Menzerna 300 Heavy Cut Compound was the one item everyone was talking about!

Menzerna 300 Heavy Cut Compound
Menzerna previously created the FG 400 which is an excellent compound that can remove deeper imperfections. The new 300, which doesn’t have the FG before the 300, is 25% more aggressive than the FG 400. The defect removal power is incredible and best of all it can be followed up with just one step. Menzerna suggests using the Menzerna SF 4000 afterward to remove any remaining haze and then you should be all set to protect the paint. Unfortunately this item is not going to be available until January or February but we’ll keep you updated as soon as we know more.

Menzerna 3 in 1 – One-Step Polish Cut, Gloss & Wax
Sounds like it’s going to be a great AIO that actually has some cutting power and a great shine!

Menzerna ES Endless Shine – Quick Detailing Spray
This spray on product should offer light cleaning power and a lot of gloss. We’re excited to start testing this item out.

I understand Menzerna was first developed for Mercedes. Are there any other brands of product that were designed for specific cars?

I’ve heard the same thing but overall polishes are pretty universal and will generally work great on most other mfgs paint too. I generally don’t put too much stock in these types of relationships because I’m still going to test out any polish/pad combo with any new vehicle I detail. I’m not aware of other specific relationships like this but they may exist.

From other conversations I’ve had with polishing mfgs I think they may take existing formulas available to the public and make a custom variation of that polish for car mfgs as needed.

Menzerna is flat out the best, I very much look forward to 300 being available! The dealership I work at had a black 1982 Porsche 911 traded in month ago. I got permission from my manager to bring in my Flex 3401 and use my Menzerna FG400 and SF4000 topped with Menzerna Power Lock Sealant… after about 6 and half hours of exterior work alone, the owner of the dealership and most of the employees that saw it, could only say “WOW!” .. They loved the turn around on that heavily swirled and scratched Porsche. Why am I telling that story?? To prove Menzerna IS worth every penny spent! I have no intention to ever switch, you get what you pay for from Menzerna
