Tired of a re-occurring foul odor that comes on every time you use your car's air conditioning? You can try air fresheners, etc. but killing the source is the only thing that will truly solve this re-occurring problem. The Einszett Klima Cleaner does more than just kill the source it deep cleans the source which is the evaporators core surface. This is the main area of the air conditioning system where condensation build ups which ultimately causes the nasty odor. The Klima Cleaner scrubs this area clean killing and removing the source. It also adds a pleasant scent that puts a smile on your face every time you turn the air conditioning on. The pleasant scent is very noticeable for about 12 hours but it fades soon there after so it's far more subtle. When using the Klima Cleaner insert the included hose in to the center air vents and spray the product inside. In less than hour you'll notice a pleasant smell in the car while the formula breaks down the source. To ensure the vehicle always smells good we recommend applying the product twice per year or more frequently if needed in extreme cases. Stop tolerating a bad odor in your vehicle and fix the problem with the Einszett Klima Cleaner.CAUTION: Recommended for professional application only. Directions
Directions: With ignition, air conditioning and fan system turned OFF, adjust fan position to "DIRECT" setting and make sure it is NOT set to the 'FOOT' or 'DEFROST' setting. Shake can well to ensure proper foaming of product when dispensed. Attach the supplied spray tube to can and insert end of tube into center air conditioner vent located on the dashboard, Make sure tube goes in smoothly and does not contact any obstructions. With tube fully inserted in vent, press spray trigger to dispense contents. As you spray the thick foam solution will travel through vent ducting towards the evaporator (the source of odor causing contaminants). After dispensing product, wait no longer than 30 minutes for product to clean the system. Then, open windows fully to allow fresh air to enter car. Turn on fan with maximum A/C setting in ON position for 1 minute to dry system. Procedure is now complete.

I had great results. The plastic tube that is supplied is about 24" and very flexible to work into the vent system. I could see my evaporator core about 18" in behind the dash center vents and the tube kept bending down into the evaporator case and the foam was not hitting the core itself just spraying into the bottom of the evap case. I found I was able to strap the tube to a piece of wire coat hanger with electrical tape and that allowed me to control the end of the tube inside the vent and use it like a wand. I was able to control the tube end inside the vent and spray the evaporator core up and down, side to side, and no more awful smell.
I helped two of my friends with their A/C odor problem. One Lexus IS 250 and another is Benz E350. The Lexus has severe A/C odor problem and this product helps getting rid of it 80-85%. Still beats going to the dealer to disassembling the console to replace or clean it right at the evaporator coils.
The important note is that you have to be careful and make sure that the hose is going down the center vent duct and not curving back toward your face (I learned it a hard way - luckily with eyeglasses on).

Product worked well. The problem is getting the hose down the correct middle vent on a VW Touareg. The odor is gone. I used this product about two weeks ago and the musky odor has not returned. More instructions to better suit your vehicle would be helpful.
