Product Description

The Porter Cable 7424 comes with a standard 5" counter weight, which helps balance out the weight distribution as the buffer spins. With the larger 6" backing plate you can use the larger 6" counter weight to help better balance the buffer. The larger counterweight is designed to help reduce vibration so you can operate the buffer with more control and improved ease of use.

Would they buy this item again? Yes
I purchased this with my buffer when I first got it and have been used to having it. Last weekend I tried my friend's without one and wow... this is a NEED if you have a PC! It helps so much.
