Cleaning Your Buffer Pads
Recommended Products | How-To's
Having clean buffing pads is essential to detailing safely and effectively. All buffing pads are designed to work in products optimally based on the density of the foam pores. If contaminants and old product clog those pores the pad will not be able to achieve optimal results. Contaminants and dried up excess product trapped in the pad could potentially be harming the surface by adding micro fine scratches when you use them. To prevent these problems and to extend the longevity of the pad, clean them after each use.

How-To Clean Your Pads
- Before you begin your detail get a clean bucket of water to place the pads in as you complete each step in your detailing process.
- After completing the detail you should have all of your pads in water soaking. You can empty that water and refill the bucket or go directly into pouring in the Snappy Clean Pad Cleaning solution. If you only have a handful of pads ½ of a packet will be enough.
- Let the pads soak for 10 – 15 minutes.
- Massage each pad individually to help break up contaminants and rinse out each pad and put it back in the bucket.
- Let the pads soak for another 10 – 15 minutes.
- Massage each pad individually to help break up contaminants and rinse out each pad.
- Thoroughly wring out each pad and let them air dry. Direct sun can help accelerate this process.
- After the pads have thoroughly dried store them in a protective container (i.e. rubber maid bin, zip lock bags)
